'My wife and I often come up to Duluth for the weekend from Minneapolis. If you're aware of the seasonal prices around Duluth this time of year (summer/tourist season), you know how expensive it can be to stay there. Anyway, we decided to give Force on 5th a try because it was coming up as one of the least expensive places to stay on the weekend we were there. We were pleasantly surprised with the place. 'We have stayed once previously and were very happy with the accomodations both times. Breakfast was good with ample selection. Facitity was very clean and easy to get to. Very happy.'
'Both front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. However, the interior was dingy, the exterior was a total dump, and they seemed to be hosting a Harley convention. Around 15 bikers congregated outside the office entrance and partied late into the night. I was woken numerous times from bikers revving up their engines. I was disappointed and would not return. '
'The hotel room is gigantic and has many industrial finishes (the entire hotel is built in an old Duluth warehouse, right in the heart of the waterfront plaza full of eating, breweries and night life! Hotel parking lot was full of cars that did not have parking permits, probably going to get towed however we had to wait around to get a spot. Receptionist was super friendly and pleasant. Lots of patrons were staying because of weekend weddings, so mixed clientele of families and couples.'
