'I have stayed in many different hotels in China, but this is the best. When I arrived the staff were really helpful and accommodating. I searched through many city centre hotels in Chengdu before booking this one. The pictures of the hotel and the reviews made it stand out. However, it was so much better than the pictures conveyed. 'The Dorsett Grand hotel is one of the better hotels to stay in while in Chengdu. As far as comfort goes, the rooms are equipped well and maintained carefully by the friendly staff. The bed meets the European standard, the bathroom in my opinion exceeds the same standard. The only downside to this hotel that we experienced during our trip is that they seem to be connected to a central heating system (which is the case for most hotels in China), which meant that while we were staying in the hotel...
