'I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! If you want somewhere truly rural, a bit off the camino (i walked back to it the next day in 25 mins), this is an interesting, unique, peaceful...

'De locatie is prima voor een bezoek aan Lugo. De kamer is schoon en het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij de omschrijving van de kamer staat dat er airco aanwezig is maar dat klopt niet.'

'Our stay at Casa Lourido was amazing. Mercè was so welcoming and accommodating. The room and bathroom were super clean. Even in the heatwave, we slept well at night with the window open. The gardens around the indoor yard are gorgeous and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the nature. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The area around the property was calm, beautiful and fun to explore and getting to A Coruña is an easy drive. We would stay here again anyday! Gracias por todo! '

'Location is awful. After 5.00pm only food option was to purchase a ready meal from the local supermarket and heat it in a microwave. Not really suitable for Camino travellers.'
