We booked this spot for a long weekend so that we could meet up with family having a longer stay nearby. We visit the area often and don't normally bring our dog since the beaches aren't dog-friendly, but since our family wanted to see her she joined for this trip.
The little apartment on the back of the larger house was just the right size for my spouse, our child and me. The entrance being on the back side of the house gives it a quieter feel than being on the main road, and the street along Little Lagoon was a good spot for dog walking. The quieter street there has generous side lanes for bikes and pedestrians and even had some pet litter stations.
Public beach access is an easy walk directly across the street and there were some restaurants and stores within walking distance.
The unit and furnishings were cheerfully decorated and functional. One of the deck chairs was broken and the property manager called us to let us know before we had a chance to call her. The previous tenants had reported it after their checkout but not before the staff had already done the housekeeping changeover for our stay.
While the spot wasn't luxurious, it was very functional and quiet for a spot right on the beach, and we appreciated the host for offering pet-friendly accomodations. While traveling with a dog and a child who loves to play on the beach, the functional and sturdy accomodations were just what we needed.
