    Dit charmante een verhaal drie slaapkamers, twee bad strand huis biedt bijna 1.800 vierkante meter woonruimte, twee veranda's en een handige een auto garage.

    U vindt er een ruime woonkamer, eetkamer en volledig ingerichte keuken met ontbijttafel, koelkast met ijsmachine, magnetron, vaatwasser en wasruimte met full-size wasmachine en droger. Net buiten de woonkamer is een grote afgeschermde veranda met veel buiten zitplaatsen.

    Naast de belangrijkste woonkamers zijn er drie slaapkamers. De master suite heeft een groot meesterbad met tuinbad, aparte glazen douchecabine, dubbele wastafel en aparte commode-kamer. Andere voorzieningen zijn onder meer 10 meter plafonds, plafondventilatoren, centrale verwarming en airconditioning, en veel bergruimten.

We were pleasantly surprised with Gems by the Sea specifically the fact that the main living areas had been repainted and new furniture/decorations were updated. We loved the porch area and the two golf carts. The house is approximately 1/2 mile from the beach so the carts were perfect for getting to/from the beach. Nice decor throughout house; kitchen well stocked; many beach toys/utensils There were a couple of things that need to be addressed. The house was not really clean upon our arrival. There was noticeable hair, dirt, dust, and sand on the floors. Guest bathroom needed recleaning. The carpets in the bedrooms was very worn and dirty. Replacing the carpet with a different flooring would improve the cleanliness as well as decor of the house. Parking was an issue. We had a suburban and a tahoe and fitting the two vehicles in the allotted area was difficult. Bikes were a nice touch but bikes had issues with the chain on one bike and the tire on the other bike. Maintenance was contacted but the man stated that it would be a week or so before it could be fixed.

Thanksgiving at Martinique on the Gulf

Both were well appointed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.I have one complaint. Having checked several times to be sure there would be no construction in the two houses we eventually rented, upon arrival we realized that the screened in porch and one of the properties did not have a door and desperately needed screens. We stayed there for days before this was completed, while having workmen there while we were there.Having inquired several times to be certain that this would happen, I was very disappointed. Since we are trying to stay outside and keep germs at a limit, the use of this porch became very important. There is also a large piece of equipment left on the porch which meant the young ones couldn’t even go out there at all. No compensation whatsoever was offered. Disappointing

Our family has been coming to the Martinique for over 15 years and it is always the picture perfect getaway. The home was super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen and two golf carts were an added bonus. The screened in patio was perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee during the rainstorms we had from hurricane Hannah. As always the grounds were pristine and all the beautiful foliage makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. We felt safe with the covid 19 precautions in place even at the pools. More wonderful memories were made!

When we walk thru the door we feel like we are at home. We love alot of tge updates to the kit hen and also the curtains and accessories are beautifully done. Addition of appliances in kitchen a great addition. The one major thing I would replace carpet with in the bedrooms is hardwood floors.I think it would put it over the top gorgeous.
