We fought ants the entire time we stayed. They were coming up through the cracks in the floor. This is my only complaint. We also wished for a hand held shower head to get sand off of you that you can't get off outside. We loved the mattress, very comfy! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay & will be staying again!

Almost perfect for a family of 4

This was perfect for our family of 4, space-wise. That being said, I meal prepped and made freezer meals so we didn’t use this kitchen much. If I had to cook in the kitchen space, it would’ve been tight. We have stayed in Fort Morgan the last 7 summers, in a different house each time and there are pros and cons to each one. For me, cleanliness, AC, and distance to the beach are top priorities and all were excellent here. As stated above, the kitchen is tight, but it works when you’re spending 90% of your time on the beautiful beach. The refrigerator has a magnet stating it can take up to 24 hours to cool everything—never did. We ended up just putting everything back in our coolers and using the mini fridge upstairs (which was a nice touch). The freezer worked fine though. I’ll admit, I didn’t contact anyone about fixing it because we made it work and I didn’t want to spend time dealing with that or feeling like one of us needed to be in the house while a repairman came or they replaced it. I received a text with a link asking if they were exceeding our expectations, the options were thumbs up or thumbs down, I gave them a thumbs down (for the fridge) and I got a message saying they would be reaching out to me soon—also never did. The outdoor shower area was also a low point in comparison to every other house we’ve stayed it, but it is functional. My husband likes to hose our beach stuff down before we pack back up to remove the sand/salt and there’s no way to do that and keep

Perfect pJ’s to swimsuit vacay

We enjoyed the home we stayed in and such a great location! We went from pj’s to swimsuit and back to pj’s except 2 nights we ate at Tacky Jacks , it was delicious and just across the street basically. We made new friends on the beach as we sat together for 7 days . Relaxed and refreshed now !

We love it here!

We absolutely love this neighborhood and location. It’s safe and everyone around is always so nice. We will stay in this room again. It was perfect for our family of 4. The home was stocked with everything we needed! The kitchen knives were even sharp. (A big thing to me and I pack my own just in case!) The bed was great! I find a lot of times that the beds are worn out, but that bed was so comfortable. We stayed in the bigger house last time with friends, but we will be staying here again next year!

Gulf view beach house

Perfect sized 2 story house with views of Gulf from both floors! So cute- even the pretty coffee cups were fun to use! We enjoyed cooking on-site with provided cookware and having our coffee and margaritas on the porch each day. Within 5 minute walk, we were standing on the clean beach. It seems previous guests had left apparel and a credit card in the house so we hope Southern modifies property inspection between guests. We strongly recommend this property and Southern as a reputable, easy to work with company.
