'Outstanding, we are regularly away for the odd night but this is the absolute best place we have stayed! The room (15) was amazing more like an apartment and was spotlessly clean, prosecvo in room was chilled for our arrival and a special birthday treat - chocs and strawberries was a lovely touch. 'We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run. The staff were so helpful polite and attentive. The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet. 'The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. 'The room was nice spacious but could use an update. And they made a fuss about me not wanting to eat in the special 'dog-area' because it felt like being put away... and too hot. i wanted outside but there they didn't serve... finally it was okay but i had to stand my ground and that was not so nice after a very long day's walk... beautiful sitting area outside though!'

'Excellent stay, place is beautiful expect to pay bar prices for any crisp or drinks as it is located a stone throw from the pub but quite a walk from shops.
