'Relatively new hotel by a family who is passionate about hospitality. Huge rooms, elegantly appointed, and the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Unusual for a rather downscale town, but still felt authentic to the surroundings. Beautiful public spaces on all floors with scenic views. And a genuinely warm staff. '

'We had a great stay at Acacia. The location was very central and walkable to shops, dinner, the Charles Darwin Center, and a couple of beaches. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. And the staff was very friendly and helpful, plus a delicious fresh breakfast daily. So glad we planned a couple of days in Puerto Ayora - there are sea lions, tortoises, and marine iguanas all over the place and we spent a lovely day at Tortuga Bay (thanks to recommendation from Acacia staff). Wish we had...

'Wonderful establishment overall. Great made to order breakfast, good service and friendly staff. The requirement of a water taxi to get to the hotel while daunting at first, is not an issue at all as they are cheap and plentiful. Our room had a great ocean view. The housekeeping and Turndown services were perfectly timed.'

'Victor was a great host. He helped set up some really great activities during my stay and gave me great tips. It is only 2 blocks away from the town center which makes it very convenient and away from the hustle of things to have a quiet nights sleep. The WiFi works well in the common space and there is purified water provided. It is a very charming accommodation that is very eco friendly. I would definitely recommend and stay again!'
