'Best staff ever, we really felt welcomed. The property was nice, there was a lot to do in the area.'

'The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose this property because it was the only traditional hotel within walking distance of an event we were attending (Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival) so the rates were probably higher than normal. Our biggest complaint was the free hot breakfast. All 3 mornings were the same. Tasteless sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A handful of high carb offerings. Weak coffee and rock hard butter. The problem with Franklin is there are no restaurants "downtown"...

'A poor excuse for a hotel. The shower and the bathroom sink didn’t work well, the shower curtain was filthy, and the bath towel was the size of a hand towel. There was only one available outlet in the room, and one of the inputs was too loose to hold a plug. The sliding glass door was very hard to open and almost impossible to lock, and the curtain barely reached across the window/door. The staff was practically nonexistent. There were not enough towels, no coffee maker, and the “breakfast”...

'This property was wonderful and clean. We had two teenage boys who love fishing and we were able to leave them go on their own fishing on the free kayaks offered. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We were able to spend time on the deck and enjoy the quiet time of the outdoors. Restaurant on premises is very very nice and the people helpful and friendly. Will be staying there again soon. Thank you Carmen'

'Our room appeared clean until I went into bathroom and found hair on the vanity, so I cleaned it myself. As I was getting into the shower I grabbed the floormat and it was soaked and again had hair on it. I had called the desk for extra pillows and when she came I had showed her the bathroom and bathmat she offered to bring me a new and that was all! No care if our room was actually cleaned! Will not recommend!'

'This property was fantastic to stay at. It is centrally located to all things Meadville and very walkable. Communication from the facility was great and the check in/out process was easy. Private with ample parking and a pool. While the is no food served at the property, there is a credit to local restaurants for the "breakfast" portion of the stay and we just made our own in the beautiful kitchen on site. We have family in the area and are excited to find a place that we can stay at again.'

'I would love to leave a stay review but we did not get that chance. Upon arrival- the lady said they didnt have our reservation and they were sold out for the weekend because we didnt call 24 hours ahead of time and prepay- it said nothing about that on expedia. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a trend. They offered us to stay friday night and to play it by ear on saturday which did not go over well for the rest of the family so we ended up leaving which ruined the 4th of july plans....

'Breakfast stops early at 9 so didn’t have any. Staff nice and accommodating. Bed really comfy pillows were just ok (small and soft). Only one night stand. Room kind of small. I would have rather had two night stands than chair in corner. Good room for price. Would return.'
