'Beautiful location in/at Tivoli gardens. Beautiful hotel an decoration. Extremely friendly staff. But,….location on street side (rooms 38) is terrible due to noisy location (no sound insulation). This seriously hampers a good night rest and this makes the price-quality balance wrong. Early (false) evacuation alarm at 07:30 can happen, but a small gesture (cup of coffee?) or personal note from hotel manager would have been considerate. Parking fee of 85 (!!) euros is prohibitive.'

'Hotel is located in a very central area. We pretty much walked everywhere. The room itself was clean and big, and we enjoyed that we didn't really have any noise from outside of the hotel. We were able to hear footsteps in the hallway really well, but it didn't really bother us that much.'

'This hotel is a jewel! It is very well located, you can walk or bike anywhere, with lots of options for food and enjoyment. Hart bakery is across the canal, and a food area within 5 minutes. The hotel is very beautiful, extremely clean, has great breakfast and fantastic staff.

"Het hotel is prachtig gelegen en dus perfecte keuze. Maar na drie keer geweest te zijn dit keer toch wel paar stevige kritiek punten ( ook al aan het hotel laten weten!
Ten eerste kregen we te maken met bestelling van wijn en bier, maar er kwam niets. Na 20 minuten gevraagd waar de drankjes bleven . Reactie was dat het het vergeten waren . Dus na wat gegeten te hebben kwamen de drankjes. Dan verwacht je een aardigheid in de sfeer van gratis extra drankje . Maar niet dus. Ten tweede kent de kamer alleen een vrij klein bad en geen losse douche. Bad was erg glad en dus val incident. Ten derde bij diner nergens op tafel een bordje gereserveerd en dat moet je dan dus maar ruiken. Conclusie : er valt nog wel wat te leren "

"The room itself was small, we had a family room with a double bed and a sofa that was made into a double bed. We did not have any space to lay out our luggage (4 suitcases since we were with 4). Same thing for the bathroom, quite small with a big shower (too big since it took 1/3 of the bathroom). But there was no place to put our toiletries next to the sink (again because we were it’s 4). This room would suit much better for a couple.
That being said, it is a room just to sleep in; it was clean, modern, enough towels and a thick duvet. You could regulate the room temperature with airco.
We also had breakfast included and I strongly recommend doing that! It was like a breakfast heaven, so many option to choose from ranging from local pastries, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, yoghurt with different toppings such as granola and different kind of seeds, ham and cheese for on toast, vegetables, fruit,….. the buffet was open from 7-11 am, more than enough time to sit and enjoy a diverse meal :). "

"TOP: Centrally located, public transportation close by, rooms in retro style.
TIP: breakfast expensive, coffee not up to normal standard, although fresh fruit is displayed, the served orange juice is not and is a premaid drink with an orange taste. The room is very warm, airco is switch off, due to the winter according to reception. Opening a window is an option however lots of disturbing traffic noise during sleep is the result."
