'The environment is really pretty and tropical, lot of trees . Room is nice, staff very helpful, food is good. The only drawback is it’s kind of far from city. You will need taxi for most of the activities. The hotel is walking distance to DianChi only. Overall, hotel is nice for getaway , but not too convenient if you are here for touring the city '

'Absolutely gorgeous hotel although so vast, a mobility challenged person might find it daunting. The room was huge and all amenities top notch. The staff were very polite, although as with most hotels in China, one should have a translation app. The cocktail lounge was lovely, with live entertainment by a lovely couple ftom Ukraine. 'The bed was clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast was delicious and clean. The staff was friendly. I don't speak Chinese, but they did their best for me. I recommend it especially for those who arrive at Kunming Airport at night. It's very close to the airport.'
