'Simone provided detailed information on getting to the place, parking spot with pictures which made it very easy even though we arrived late. The place itself is beautiful with a lot of nice touches. It was themed true to the pineapple loft name :). There were a lot of beach gear for us to use, books to read, indoor games to play. The kitchen had all the essentials needed to make a meal and the fans and window ac in the bedrooms helped us sleep well. The place itself felt like home. '

'This house felt like coming home. The attention to detail is top notch. Appreciated the welcome basket. There's a separate parking space for you to use. House is on a side street, no issues with street noise. You will hear coqui (frogs sounding like birds) at night, which can get quite loud. Don't let that stop you from staying here though, because you won't be able to escape it anywhere in Hilo anyway and this house is really fabulous. Bonus: earplugs are provided for those that want them....

'The property has a very good location in Hilo with an easy drive to the Volcanoes National Park and other interesting areas. It offers good privacy; however, this area could be noisy at night due to proximity to two main Hilo streets. The interior of the apartment was very clean on the arrival as were towels and bed sheets. I cannot say the same about some kitchen appliances that need either major scrubbing or replacement (rust).
