Appartement op de begane grond met 1 slaapkamer, compleet met eigen ingang en een eigen oprit in een privéwoning aan 72 Shore Road, Dartmouth met uitzicht op de haven van Halifax. Het appartement bestaat uit een volledige keuken, woonkamer, 3-pc badkamer, slaapkamer, berging kast en meer .... Het appartement is klaar voor bewoning op 1 september. 2019.

Wij zijn gevestigd op Shore Rd. in Dartmouth met uitzicht op de haven. Shore Road is een zeer rustige straat met een prachtig uitzicht op de haven van Halifax en veel watersportactiviteiten om van te genieten.
Het appartement ligt op 5 minuten met de auto van de Halifax / Dartmouth-brug en op 15 minuten lopen van de veerboot van Halifax. 10 minuten met de veerboot naar het centrum van Halifax. Dicht bij alle winkelfaciliteiten.

Perfect home away from home for a couple.

An amazing experience in Dartmouth/Halifax

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et à proximité. Emplacement parfait, propre, confortable. Nous avons laissé notre véhicule devant la maison et pris le ferry tous les jours (10 min. à pied) pour nous rendre à Halifax.

Harbour View

This adorable little flat is located on the Dartmouth waterfront just a short walk from the ferry to Halifax and the McDonald Bridge if you are looking for an adventure it is a pedestrian friendly bridge that spans 1 mile and is about 15 minutes to walk. From there you can take the short walk along Barrington to Halifax's downtown core and a quick ferry ride back to Alderney Landing and back to the flat. The view from the front lower deck is spectacular and Lucy and Moe have a nice Bistro and BBQ set there for you to sit back and enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a gourmet seafood dish from Nova Scotia oysters, to lobster or their world famous Digby scallops. It's all you need at a very reasonable rate with 2 lovely hosts near by if you have any concerns. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the apt. It was clean, comfortable and inviting and well-equipped. Very convenient location with ferry to Halifax within easy walking distance. Also a very good bed which made for a good night.

It is close to Halifax ferry. It is a basement apartment so it is necessary to have lights on all the time (personally I like bright places with windows).

Great location

The apartment is in a great location with a beautiful view of the harbour and within a short walking distance to the ferry. The hosts are very nice. As for the unit itself, all the amenities of a home are there, including a washer and dryer. There isn't a lot of room for luggage in the bedroom, but it is workable. On the down side, the double bed is not very comfortable and the pillows are all stained. Even though the unit is a walk out in front, it is a basement. It is very humid and for this reason, you need to run the dehumidifier constantly.

The view of Halifax harbour was spectacular when the trains weren’t there. Easy access to Halifax and all highways . The unit is well equipped and clean the only down fall was the mattress was too small for the box spring.

Everything was like it was described and on the fotos. Nice beighborhood, nice walk to the ferry or to the busses. It was a great stay, everything was perfect and the host was caring very friendly during the blackout (cuased by Fiona). The only thing I didn't like? That I couldn't stay longer!
