'Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again.'

'Property was lovely and totally suited our needs - no fighting over rooms as they were all spacious with lovely en-suites !! Check in was hassle free with an entrance code. Tea coffee and milk was supplied. There were a few stains on the sofas but everything else was spotless. '

'We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too. Lots of nice walks locally, lots of shops nearby for food shopping and lovely places to visit. The road outside can be busy but inside we don’t notice and the cottage more than makes up for it.
