The third time, I was told that there was no AC, and all they could provide was a fan. As a seperate problem, it was not clear that you had to request a room clean, and when I finally asked on my third day all they did was empty the trash and provide a couple new towels. 'The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and I loved my room on the 14th floor: very clean, with an amazingly comfy bed, a huge tub, fantastic view of the downtown and a refrigerator. Their onsite bar and restaurant: the Swine Moonshine and Whiskey Bar and the Tavern were both excellent that have fantastic waitstaff. The hotel is in a great location, close to Symphony Hall, the Art Museum, restaurants and shopping and just a block from a light rail station. I highly recommend...

'The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway in a quiet area, away from the busy downtown core. For a hotel that is over 100 years old, it has been well maintained and is in good condition. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and the bathtub drains slowly while showering. There are also some signs of wear in the room, but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.'

'It's a nice hotel but nowhere near luxury class and was overpriced. Paid almost 30 for a tiny piece of fish. Was told it came with peas when we asked what it came with. There were literally 12 peas. So I guess technically it came with peas. After eating the 4 bites of fish, we went out for dinner after dinner. Luxury prices but not a luxury experience.'

'Had a great stay, the room was great! The room was clean and the views were awesome. The only think I’d note is their parking garage says 8’2 when you enter but the floors that are self parking were actually 6’11 which was a bit concerning for someone with a large truck other than that it was a great place to stay!'
