Prachtig, comfortabel vakantiehuis

Een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen voor een kort of lang verblijf. Is binnen een gemakkelijke vijf minuten lopen naar alle lokale community clubs (golfclub, bootclub en gecombineerde sportclub), general store, café en fish and chips shop. Lokaal museum is dagelijks geopend.
De haven biedt een geweldige plek om te zwemmen met goed vissen voor de kinderen op de werf of als het 'echte vissen' is dat u verkiest, vertrekken de charterboten vanaf de plaatselijke werf.
Gerenommeerde Te Puia Hot Springs liggen op 5 minuten rijden en zijn zeker een bezoek waard ..

Lovely Stay

Thank you, Patsy, for another great stay. Your home is in such a beautiful spot, and we really enjoyed it. It was a bit of a shame that some parts of the oven didn’t work since we were baking a lot over the weekend. But we still had a good time and really appreciated being able to check out later. I’d happily recommend your place to other families.

Been to Kawhia a few times and stayed at the camp grounds. With parents wanting to join I wanted to find somewhere close and homey! Excellent central location, all the ammenities and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for escaping the busy city life.

Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog

To be honest, compared to the other 3 places we stayed on our 2 week holiday on the north island of NZ, I found it was over priced by 30-50% for the property condition, amenities, and location. (location would be good, if you like fishing) The host was very nice and helpful, but the house for the money needs updating, or renting price needs to be reduced

We had a great stay at Pete's place. We have a baby and a toddler and very house friendly for them too. Clean and tidy house. Lovely outdoor area (big lawn and covered deck). Patsy was a great host.
