'Overall, we enjoyed our family's stay and felt it was a very family-friendly hotel. Our kids loved the pool, which was saltwater, but we worried about the cleanliness of the pool. The daily breakfast was good and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Parking was easy and hassle-free. Our room lacked a bathroom fan and we noticed our room got very humid after our two-day stay. '

'The room and house was spotless, cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfy. So many extras and luxuries that made our stay amazing. Breakfast was delicious and presented with so much attention to detail. Rose is a gem - kind and hospitable. We highly recommend it here when you are in the Port Hope area. '

'There were no other hotel options within the area available due to a tournament of some kind. Upon arrival staff attempted to increase the rate to double+ the cost because of lack of availability. As I had booked via expedia with the rate already outlined they were required to maintain it much to their disgruntlement. '

'Cold water shower first morning. There was hot water later that day and the next morning. Another traveller with me got double billed. It was worked out but did delay her day by about 20 minutes. Rooms were basic but fine. Microwave and fridge in my room both worked fine. '

'None of the oulets for chargers worked. There was only warm coffee at breakfast once, then it sat empty. The heated pool was cold. but staff was great.'
