When wr arrived we had an issue and it was taken care of. Our host Tim was very very helpful and understanding and apologetic. Appreciated his concern. Looking forward to staying at Snug Harbor again in the spring if possible. The place is wonderful , had everything we needed. It was clean.would definitely recommend it as it’s our favorite place to stay.

There were pluses and minuses about this apartment. Positivesa: The lake view is great with a huge deck. There is a second king bed in an alcove off the den/LR. This unit appears to be a fairly recent renovation of an apartment in a restaurant building. The interior is a pleasant light grey motif with white trim and wood-look vinyl flooring. There were good kitchen appliances with variety of coffee makers. Negatives: Entry instructions were wrong and we were repeatedly locked out of the unit. We only got in because someone was in the restaurant who contacted someone for access. While there were beds for 4, there were only 2 bath towels, so you may need to bring towels. The towels were plush, though. Anyone in the second bed has to enter the BR to get to the bath. Oh, and bring shampoo, none is provided. The only table is a two person cafe table, so no room for 4 to eat. The kitchen knives could barely cut butter, so the housekeeper lent us some of hers. There was substantial noise from the restaurant HVAC which is outside the bathroom. In the BR the apartment HVAC blows on the bed. Lighting is harsh, mostly recessed lighting and no table or floor lamps for reading. There is a ceiling light in the kitchen, but it is insufficient for working safely in the kitchen. This is a wine region, but the wine glasses were hit-or-miss, so if wine is important, bring your own glasses. There were also few hangers in the closet, so bring those, as well.

Another amazing stay at Snug Harbor…this is our happy place! With the restaurant below currently being closed, it was so quiet and peaceful. This was our 3rd stay in the 2nd floor suite this year and already can’t wait to go back in this Spring! We absolutely love this place!

Summer up north

Great view of the lake, spectacular porch and very spacious. Only downside was single bathroom located inside master bedroom. Close to town and restaurants. However, if renting a boat you have to go large due to wind effect on water and dangerous floating dock.

Wonderful

Our stay was great since noone was there to check us in didnt know exactly where entrance to unit was. Had to ask someone at the restaurant where it was Our host was actualy in California but another person came to help as we couldnt figure how to turn on the tvs also the listing there is no hotub on prperty. The coffe pot was not working so we were able to get a new one. The unit however was very spacious we overall really enjoyed our stay breakfast is not available in the restaurant downstairs the nearest grocery store is about a mile away..there are 3 units for rent the one next to the restsuranr is handicap friendly ours(the 2 nd fllor as well the top floor is definitely not it is very steep!)

Rooms were great but there is no hot tub at location yet it says so in listing. Also property manager did not answer our request for help on door security codes or no working living room TV.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at Snug Harbor. We would definitely come back. It is an active restaurant so it was a little noisy at night and parking can be at a premium in the evening but nothing we couldn’t handle. The location is beautiful. We had Suite 2, which is the second level. The check in/out was all by email so very easy instructions. Ate dinner two nights at the restaurant. We did the Butcher board one night and BBQ board the next. Fabulous. Mornings are very quiet and peaceful with a nice sunrise over the lake. Close proximity to many wineries. We would like to come back and stay again.

Private and clean

We had a great stay. Although we stayed above the restaurant, it was pretty quiet and felt very private. We had amazing views of Keuka lake. The residence was situated in a great location with nearby hiking, vineyards, breweries, and nearby Hammondsport, a great little town with great charm and good restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Thanksgiving 2023

Nice place. It was odd not to have an indoor dining area (just a teensy table). In warmer weather the deck area would have been great. Outdoor lighting around the two concrete stairways we had to navigate was dim, and covered with leaves, wet and slippery upon our arrival due to the weather. We had cause to call Derek, the maintenance person, who picked up right away and solved the issue immediately.

Perfect Getaway

This place was the perfect place for our little getaway to explore the Hammondsport area. The rental was very clean and offered a picturesque view of the lake from a spectacular porch. There’s nothing better than to have breakfast while watching sun rise.

Relaxing Stay

We stayed over Labor day weekend. It was very relaxing. The place was easy to get to and convenient to everything. The place was clean and spacious . The front deck was amazing you could fit A very large group of people. The only thing I wished they had were a coupe of ceiling fans that circulated the air. It was a perfect getaway.

Second time staying here . First was top floor. This time on second level was great . Will come back .view was great. Enjoyed the veranda for coffee in morning, so quiet and peaceful. Used table to eat and play games. Would recommend this suite.
