'Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!!'

'The property was exactly as represented. It has all the basic necessities. The location was perfect. Right on the lake so we could do our ice fishing right from the porch. Check in and out was easy. The only small downside was the parking. I have a suburban so there was not a lot of space in front of the cottage for it to fit and be completely off the road. I was a little nervous it would get clipped by someone driving by.'

'Our stay in Penobscot was absolutely perfect. The home is located right on the bay with beautiful sunset views across the water. We loved taking walks down the beach and coffee on the porch, our daughter had a great time exploring and playing on the beach as well. 'Judith, our host was very accommodating. We were there for the solar eclipse. Judith provided information about the eclipse along with viewing glasses. The house is located in a quite neighborhood. I had a couple of conversations with the neighbors. They were friendly people. Parking was convenient. Lots of room on the main floor. We slept well. The beds were comfy but sturdy. All the bedrooms and baths are upstairs. We're thankful to Judith for letting us stay here. It was the most relaxing...

It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great.
