'We stayed for a quick trip to Mass. and wanted something nearby lots of good areas. We hadn’t stayed in Gloucester before but LOVED it, and it was easy to get to Salem and Rockport! The host was friendly and helpful and responded to us quickly! The house was very clean and perfect for our trip. We loved the charm and all the furniture was comfortable. We are already talking about wanting to go back!'

'The house was very spacious, bright, lots of windows which provided lots of natural light. the garage fit two cars and allowed for two others in the driveway. The couch is large enough for six of us to chill, relax and watch a good movie after a day of shopping in Portsmouth. The bedroom rugs are stained and probably should be replaced but the few stains didn't distract from the rest of the house. The beach was gorgeous which is about a 5 minute walk. 'I have stayed at a lot of VRBO and other online rentals and this was the best stocked home ever! My better half was able to cook a full birthday meal there!!! Great location! A little dated furnishings but that added to the charm! I would stay here again!'

'We enjoyed this lovely and comfortable home with a really great outdoor space. Everything is easy - easy access/walk to the beach, an easy walk to Salisbury's boardwalk, and an easy drive to Newburyport. And, we appreciated the easy and clear communication with the host too. 'I traveled with my three dear friends for a girls only weekend after a 10 year hiatus. We could not say more about how the fabulous location. Virtually everything we did was within walking distance. 'A lot to like about this cottage - very close to beach, on a quiet dead end laneway, all new kitchen, very clean, good outdoor space with comfortable seating, grill, umbrellas, patio lights, good communication with owner. The only downside is that it's really small inside with a steep low ceilinged staircase. We were all over 65 and feared falling on it, even the shortest hit their head on one part of the ceiling! It's a vintage cottage, so just be forewarned. In the overpriced vacation rental...

'Was looking for a place to enjoy a few quiet/restful days off, and found exactly that! The property is perfect for a small group of 2-3 or a solo traveler! 'Everything was wonderful. A nice welcome note and special cooking needs helped it all work smoothly. Good places to walk and work off the big meal. Quiet neighborhood. Finding our way was not difficult. We missed our dogs, but totally understand the no pets policy. Too many choices for the TV. I was grateful to have help from a 5th grader.'

'Wonderful cottage in a quiet neighborhood on a nice little lake. It is a great setting and was perfect for us to decompress after spending holiday festivities with family. "kamer stonk naar leek wel zweetvoeten en het behang kwam van de muur. De toiletpot zat los zodat je erg voorzichtig moest doen. Bij het ontbijt werd pas op het eind de jus de orange bijgevuld nadat heel veel mensen hadden misgegrepen. Ik ga graag naar een Best Western hotel maar dit was gewoon slecht en ik was blij dat we maar 1 nacht hier waren"

"Great place to stop if you're looking to be close to the tri-state area, going to Boston or just road-tripping. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered a microwave as an amenity when we needed one to heat up our leftover food. They even came to bring it. Housekeeping was thorough and rooms smelled clean. I have a high standard for cleanliness, and I am sad to say that the motel is showing its age a bit. Particularly the area around the toilet is rusty and has a lot of icky places, and there's rust on much of the metal surface areas. But that's to be expected. Overall a good stay. "
