'This house was everything I hoped for. It was so well thought out, small, but charming and completely appointed with everything you need. Clean, cute, comfortable. And the host is so quick to respond anytime we had a question. We definitely want to return. We were there 4 days and did not even get to do all of the things we would like to. The horses came by almost every day. I would recommend this Cozy cottage off the beaten path anytime to anyone.'

'Check-in was extremely easy and the host messaged us that our unit was left unlocked for us, just before we arrived. He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean. 'Lovely cottage with real wood interior in a great location. Everything was nice and clean. Central AC. Kitchen is well furnished with basic dishes and flatware but we did bring our mobile kitchen with a heavy frying pan, carbon knives, coffee-making, drink-mixing kit. Beds are good (bring your own sheets). Short walk to the beach, near restaurants and services. Great communication.'

The neighborhood had a great vibe with plenty of walkable options, yet the house still felt quaint and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every part of our stay!'

'This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
