'Wonderful property. Convenient drive to the beach and very secluded 11 miles up the beach. Loved the garage- could pull our jeep right into the garage with the doors off without worry. Grill was convenient-deck was nice. Horses came up to the yard. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks John for a great, affordable stay for my wife and I. '

'Your own private beach with beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay. Kids played in the sand even in the cooler weather. Got to see dolphins playing while taking morning and evening walks. It was a perfect size house for our family. '

'We enjoyed our stay so much at this home. A very versatile house having the pool, its own little sandbar hang out right on the water. It has a large front yard where we were able to play outside with multiple spots in the shade. Also it was one of the only houses with a paved driveway to ride bikes for kids. The perfect house for little ones to enjoy a little bit of everything. Adults too! '

'This was a great place. Kitchen was well stocked, and owner provided many amenities which was greatly appreciated. There is a path from the back yard, right to the beach. It was awesome! Owner was very responsive, and the house was very clean. We had one beach day and invited my brother and his grandkids over for the day and the kids had a blast! Great place for families.'

'Excellent location near Naval Base Norfolk right off Tidewater Dr (VA 168). MIMOR glitch with access code, but it was fixed within seconds with a call to Ezmel. Gas stove might have a leak, but it did not detract from our stay (Let Ezmel know). Great yard for the dogs with good lighting and multiple solar lights.This is our first VRBO and we will reuse this property when we return to Virginia.'

'Close to everything! Beach, shops, dining, Wright brothers, sand dunes. Perfect for my family and dogs to stay at with plenty of room and the extra beach gear they provided came in handy! We would stay here again the next time we visit OBX!'

'We had an excellent week at Bay Bliss. We really appreciated the cleanliness and having a crib and beach toys on site. We loved the extra touches like plenty of detergent pods, trash bags, paper towels, sponges, soap, shampoo, etc. Even left us espresso pods and beans to grind. We loved that the beach was pet friendly. There was a fish monger close by that we went to multiple times (but bring your own big pot if you do your own boils!) We also enjoyed Fullers Raw Bar and the ice cream shop next...

'We thoroughly enjoyed 3-day Independence Day holiday on Sandbridge Beach. The check-in process was effortless and Roger was very prompt in answering questions before and throughout our stay. We really loved this home because it offered so much of what we wanted to do on vacation including a large swimming pool, hot tub, and boat/kayak access on the canal. The beach was a short walk out of the neighborhood and across the street to the quiet Sandbridge Beach. We liked the home and location so...

It was wonderfully decorated, had enough space for our family, felt comfortable, and had an amazing location. We have even recommended this house to our extended family. 'Nice house, fun times '

'What a surprise to once again find ourselves in one of the little old OBX cottages after not finding them for about 20 years. BUT it had been recently updated to our delight! New everything in the kitchen was great. The “beach box” was charming and suited to the 2 of us…although we could’ve had 2 more at least. We’ll be back!'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
