'This was the perfect place for us! We did a lot of fishing and crabbing from the dock. OBX beaches are less than a mile away. The host is very responsive. Great neighbor kitty who loved to visit with us. (And his mom was very nice and chatty too!)'

'This was an ideal location for our family reunion. We were very comfortable! We had ample room to 9 people to sleep, a well appointed kitchen, and a good proximity to many attractions. There were many books, games, and amenities available including a pool table, puzzles, different types of coffee makers, etc. The host was readily communicative and accessible. Our only wish is that there were some bathmats, a couple more towels, and sheets available for the person who slept on the couch. Thank...

'It was perfect! Just what we needed for a quick visit with family and could bring the dog!'

'Perfect place to stay with our dog. There's even a gate separating the living and bedroom areas. Nice neighborhood as well. We were there in January, and many of the houses seemed to be occupied by owners, which probably makes it a quieter neighborhood in the summer as well.'

'The pictures on the Vrbo site didn't match what we actually received. The A/C didn't work on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The were no box springs on any of the beds. I felt like our host was giving us the run around. We were here from Jun 26th to July 5th. The last time I heard anything from the host was June 30th. Too much money was paid(2500) for this place to lack basic amenities in this Virginia heat'

'Great little beach house that was exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location. Crystal was an outstanding host who went out of her way to travel to the property and send me a video showing the quality of the beach and access in Buxton. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Beach Dreamer.'

'Our stay at the Relax Shack came during an unexpected heatwave. Having this comfy, spacious two-bedroom house allowed our 21 year old daughter, our dog, and US to spread out and chill out without getting on each others nerves. The house provided everything needed to prepare our meals and the large deck was lovely-when we managed to avoid the heat. I picked up a nail in my tire and asked our hosts, Amber and Brett for suggestions for a reliable garage to repair/replace it. They suggested a place...

'Very clean, distance to the beach was amazing, great space with or without pets!'

'This lovely cottage was exactly as described in the listing. Conveniently located, a quick walk to the beach, very clean, and easy/friendly host communication! We loved walking around the corner to Sea Level for breakfast. So nice to have parking right out front. The outdoor shower was a nice feature after walking back from the beach. Definitely 5 stars!'

'Great stay. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Very nice property. We will stay again next time.'

'This place worked great for 3 adults. We didn’t rent a car, but didn’t really need one. There are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops (plus the beach, of course) in walking distance. It was clean and the a/c units kept us cool, which definitely mattered on the day the temperature was in the 90s!'
