'We were disappointed to find the pool room was under maintenance so we could not use it, looking at other reviews seems like this has been the case for some time so not sure why it’s still advertised with it. Also advertised 7 rooms however we only had access to 6, all other doors and assuming 7th room was locked, so again not what we paid for. Place was quite dusty and smelt humid, did not seem as clean close up as it seems in photos. Overall we were quite disappointed. Hoping this review...

'We needed a house on this side of Rotorua for a mixed group of 3 adults and 3 teenagers. This mix of beds was perfect for us, saves sharing with a teenager!!!!Was very quiet with a fantastic outlook '

'2A + 1C aged 15 years. The house is spacious and quiet. A bit dated and needs some TLC and athorough clean (carpets need a good vacuum) but perfectly comfortable. The fireplace did a great job of heating the house - we closed the doors to rooms we weren't using to maximise the heat. Like other guests, we too found the gate entrance a tight squeeze - we have an SUV so just needed to take it slow.'
