Dit is de benedenverdieping van een duplex met alleen gras tussen jou en het zand. Het is twee slaapkamers, een badkamer, keuken, eethoek en woonkamer. Het heeft een grote overdekte Lanai en een geweldig uitzicht op de baai vanuit de woonkamer en Lanai. De Keone en Na Hoku (boven) hebben beide een volledig gescheiden ingang. Loop gewoon over het gras naar het strand.

Keone, The Downstairs Beach House is geweldig voor gemakkelijke toegang. Geen stappen tussen uw bed en het zand! Het voelt koel en ontspannen aan. Koel groen reflecteert op de ramen van de slaapkamers beneden. Tweeling in de tweede slaapkamer voor de kinderen of alleenstaande vrienden. Als u twee koppels bent, is het mogelijk om de bedden tegen elkaar te duwen. Uw Lanai is een geweldige plek om te loungen, lunchen of op elk gewenst moment. Sommige van onze gasten krijgen een mooi kleed en dekken de picknicktafel en zetten er een bos bloemen op. Bij anderen zijn zandspeelgoed en surfplanken. Een gecombineerde bad douche is in het bad. Er is een opklapbaar eenpersoonsbed in de woonkamer die plaats biedt aan een andere gast. (Standaard bezetting is 2 personen, maar is geschikt voor maximaal 4, extra gasttoeslag van toepassing)

Loop gewoon langs de palmen en ijzerhout naar het zand. Als je genoeg zon hebt, maar niet genoeg strand, is onder de bomen waar je zult zijn. Geweldige plek om te lezen of Scrabble. Niet het hele vakantieleven is zonder enige zware arbeid. Als je kleding moet wassen, delen de Boven, Beneden en Oude Stijl de munt wasmachine en droger in dit schattige kleine gebouw op slechts een steenworp afstand. Er is ook een douche met warm en koud water aan de zijkant voor het afspoelen van zand en zout na het strand. Meer plezier dan binnen douchen!

Je weet nooit wat je op het strand zult zien. Veel mensen komen hier om te trouwen, geloften te hernieuwen, verjaardagen, verjaardagen te vieren, zelfs om gedoopt te worden! Kano races, surfers, kitesurfers, vissers, volleybal spelers. Zelfs met al deze activiteiten ervaren de meeste mensen het strand met minder mensen dan ze hadden kunnen dromen. Wat er ook in het water gebeurt, je staat op de foto als je naar Hanalei komt. U zult genieten van zon, regen, surfen, regenbogen en een geweldig klein stadje op een fabelachtig mooie locatie.

Tropical house with ocean view

The house and neighboring houses are very pretty, feel very Hawaiian. Unobstructed ocean/beach view across front lawn. Looking back to house from lawn opens up to gorgeous view of green jungly mountains. Living room and tropical furniture felt cozy when it rained. North coast is nice with small towns, small roads, less developed beaches. We stayed with our 2 adult kids which was a bit of a squeeze. They shared a room, and we all shared the bath. But the overall experience made the tightness well worth it. Would stay again.

This was probably at least our 5th stay at the Kobyashi’s “compound.” All the properties are in very good shape and well appointed. The views and sound of the surf are awe inspiring. Mahalo nui loa.

Great location!

Come for the location (steps from Hanalei Bay) and the experience of living on what is one of best, most beautiful beaches anywhere. The home was clean and well appointed but definitely not fancy. But fancy is beside the point when you are surrounded by so much natural beauty. Great experience overall.

If you want to stay ON the beach, this is it! It is not the most luxurious place in Kauai, but it is very comfortable, has everything you need, and if your goal is to be outside and at the beach, this is as good as it gets.

This.condo needs a complete refurbishment. There was no dishwasher. So we washed every dish twice. Before as who washed them and after we used it. The coffee pot is out of motel six. It hold two mugs of coffee and then wash it to make more. There is no ice maker other than ice cube trays. Straight out of the fifties. The furniture need s to be cleaned. Our bottom sheet Was balling The beach towels are worn out. It someone rents the upstairs. It is like no noice barrier. The laundry room is used by 3 houses and is fifty yards away. As is the outdoor shower. The best part is the patio where you can see the ocean. I have rented 7 houses in the north shore this was the worst.

A piece of heaven

I absolutely loved this place. Beautiful location. We would definitely stay there again. Two things I would highlight. As clearly stated on the listing, there is no air conditioning. I’m usually hot, my wife is usually cold. There were times we were both still a little hot with the windows open and the fans on, but not so much that we wouldn’t stay. Second, the washer/dryer isn’t in the unit, it is in a communal space with the outside shower. Knowing this, the way it’s listed makes sense, but that’s not how I read it/what I expected. We never had to wait to use them and it wouldn’t keep us from staying here, but I thought I’d include it so it was clear. Again, we loved it!!

Magical Getaway!

What a location!!! We loved it so much will hopefully make it a family tradition. House is super comfortable and clean. Might be time to update some of the kitchenware but had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was a hit with the whole family.

Excellent location

This downstairs unit is old but functioning and the location is excellent. You are ON the Hanalei bay beach and can see the waves breaking from inside the unit and from the lovely covered patio. Roll out of bed and take a nice walk on the beach or paddle out to surf on many of the different breaks around the bay. A lovely 15 min walk to "town" takes you to coffee and bakery in the morning and dinner at night. We were lucky to not have any tenants above us the entire week other than the first night. As expected, it is loud when they walk around above you. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in instructions were sent out a full week early from an unexpected sender, so I missed that email, making arrival a little stressful, including a call to vrbo. There is an outdoor shower and laundry a few steps away. Overall, a great place to stay.

Such an amazing property and location

Paradise

This property may not be for everyone, but we loved it! It was quiet, close to downtown Hanalei and the beach out front is perfect for boogie boarding. You can also walk the entire length of Hanalei Bay. The property had all the necessary things for a great stay, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and beach towels. With not much ambient light, the stars at night were amazing! The only reason I gave it a 4 overall rating is that it is a little dated, but for those who just want to kick back and relax, this is the perfect place!

Great location on Hanalei Bay!

We had a great, relaxing vacation in Kauai. The home has all the essentials we needed for cooking meals. The owner was extremely quick to respond to a burnt out light bulb request and we had a new bulb within a few hours. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the location has beautiful grounds with easy access to the beach / Hanalei Bay.

Paradise on the North Shore

The location of the property is unsurpassable - steps to the beach, plenty of space to play, close to town and farmer's markets and other beaches. The house was well furnished and even without AC the breeze through the windows kept us cool at night. The lanai was the perfect place for meals and relaxing with a book. The yard was wonderful for playing soccer or stargazing at night.

Great Location, Could you some updating of interior

The property is older and could use a refurbishing. Tiles in the bathroom could be replaced. You need to know that there is no air conditioning which is quite common on Hanalei, but I would prefer to have some. There are plenty of fans though, and windows the open easily. The location is great with an easy walk across the yard to the beach. It is a large lot with 3 other houses on it, so if they are filled with a lot of people your privacy is not ideal. Overall, if location is most important this will work, but it is not luxurious.

Wonderful home!
