'My family of 8 came and stayed here for 2 nights while boating at Mark Twain Lake. We absolutely loved this house and it was so close to the marina. This house was very clean with extra supplies, soap, towels etc. and we thank you for that. The open concept with the garage was also a great hang out for my kids and the pond out front was used to go fishing with my daughter early morning. I wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be back next year.'

'We had a great stay. The house has lots of character. We enjoyed the history of the property. The kids loved the pool. The house was supplied with everything we needed. We had one issue and the owner addressed it quickly.'

'Very convenient for anyone visiting Mark Twain. Plenty of space, large fenced backed yard for your furry friends, & many conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. No need to stock up on groceries as there is a grocery right next door. Fire up one of the two provided bbq pits & enjoy the covered patio area with a table for 6.'

'Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. '

'We loved this house! It's older, but well kept up and very charming! We had a group of 12, and there was plenty of sleeping room. Its a very short walk to downtown Hannibal, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. We enjoyed the shops, museums, restaurants/bars, riverboat, and the ghost tour, and we walked everywhere! Would definitely stay here again with a large group! We didn't have any issues, so we didn't communicate with the host, Barry, during our stay, but he was a great communicator,...

'Surprisingly spacious house that is central to all the places we needed to be. Enjoyed having a backyard and more privacy than we typically have at local hotels in Quincy. This little gem has all the items needed to feel at home and cozy during your stay! Laura G. was very quick to respond to my newbie questions with kindness.
