'The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors...

'This cottage was adorable! It was clean, although it did have cobwebs. Bathroom was immaculate. Shower is small so be prepared. Kitchen was adequate, it needs a better knife available and a cutting board. The location was good for what we wanted. The lake is not quite out the door as we anticipated due to the pictures presented in the listing. That was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. Everyone should go to Plymouth by way of Dick Brown Rd for an awesome experience.'

'This cute Newfound Lake vintage cottage is so cute. It has all you need to enjoy the area. If you are looking for a cozy lake rental in the woods and nature close to beaches and town this place is great! Great location for winter fall or summer! 'Everything about this cottage was exactly what we were looking for, and needed, for our Labor Day getaway weekend! The beds were comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, and kitchen equipped with the essentials (including a drip coffee maker), but our favorite things were access to the private beach and the view of Newfound Lake! The open air deck was a bonus; we had breakfast on it each morning and spent a few evenings looking up at the night sky. Ed and Cathy were excellent hosts...
