'John and Dianne are wonderful hosts. We ve returned for 4 years running. The cabin is simple and clean. Pet friendly which is why we return. Little things like -the mints and the Coffee / simple kitchen provisions well stocked. The little outer room lets us keep the bikes out of the weather. Close enough for a day over the bridge --and a simple drive to H. Springs or over to Petoskey. We LOVE the Petoskey Brewery and the North West Bike trail. Chances are very good we'll be back.'

'Very roomy, great location. Nice to have 3 bathrooms. Kitchen was well supplied with pans, plates, etc., could use basic ingredients such as salt, pepper though. Nice to have beach access but a bit early in the summer for that, and we had rainy weather.'

'This was the most charming cabin in the woods. This cabin doesn't just allow dogs, they treasure animals. Everything you could want for your pet was already there and available for use. There is also a seasonal sand road next to the cabin that is perfect for walking dogs. For humans, the screened in porch was the surprise delight. What a joy it was to sit on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. We would stay there again without...

'The home was in a great location. The process to just check in was easy. I even had a problem and called the emergency and they answered right away and helped me with my problem. The view was gorgeous from the back porch. The sunlight coming into the home was amazing.'

'This is a cute historic house that’s newly renovated. It actually was roomier than we expected from the pictures. Perfect location-a short walk down to the beach and a short walk into town. The neighbors were friendly and we got a whole history lesson on the red house and the surrounding area. The Wi-Fi was adequate but patchy. Apparently that’s the nature of Wi-Fi in Cross Village.
