'Michelle is wonderful to work with. Very responsive. i usually stay ON the beach but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get onto the beach on the boardwalk/sidewalk. The pool was amazing. 6 inch area is great for our 1 and 3 year old (wish there was a way to stop the one year old from walking into the deep area so we could relax more but still fun) Kids toys and books were perfect. Had everything we needed. And again, Michelle was outstanding.'

'Our stay was very enjoyable. The property was as it was listed and we loved that instructions on how to care for the home were posted and very clear. The home is very nice, clean, and well maintained. We were close to the beach and stores that we frequent. Overall, we had a great vacation experience and hope to return on future visits to this home.'

'Perfect for a weekend away with friends. Our favorite part was the upstairs living area. Comfortable/cozy seating area for conversation and/or card games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication with host is top notch. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area. '

'We loved our stay in Pine Knolls Shores! The house looked exactly as listed and was extremely clean and inviting. We had seven children with us ranging from toddler to teenage. There was ample space for everyone and we took advantage of the large yard and fire pit. Having private beach access was the cherry on top. You book this home with no worries! '

'The size of the home inside and out was very spacious. We had 6 people total and no one bumped into each orher.sitting area out back in gated yard was very nice. We spent most of the time there qhen webwerebt at the beach. Rooms very nice bed sizes great, streaming options nice, very comfortable living room and big kitchen. Back yard very spacious our 2 dogs loved it and had a blast plenty of room to play and run around. I wouls highly reccomend people vacation here. If we are wver in area agian...

'Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. The house was excellent as usual, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Lost to see and do in and around Davis if you're willing to drive a bit. We love this place !!! '
