The pool area was very nice. The outside behind the building could use a bit of tidying near the dumpsters, particularly since it's visible from the pool deck and some guest rooms. My son and I travel often and he is 11, and he was so impressed with the little goodie bag he was given when we arrived as well as the peppermints in the room, and the fact that there was a cute little tea tray on the bed with tea and cups. The modern appearance of the rooms and bathroom mixed with these things made my son feel very fancy.'

Second room the airco was smelling bad and switching it off made the room very warm. The bed was not too bad but the blanket was damaged bij sigaret burns and the sheets very very thin. This hotel is in the same parking lot as the Mystic Diner that has a great atmosphere and great food. Across the street is the Old Mystic Village shops which you can walk over to. I was planning to visit other parts of CT, but added an extra day because it was such a nice area. '
