Geniet van een magische tijd in The LakeStar Retreat in de prachtige Gotham Bay aan Lake Coeur d Alene. Uw charmante privésuite met twee dekken en badkamer heeft ook een majestueus uitzicht op het meer. Deze suite heeft een "kitchenette" met magnetron, koelkast, broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat en een buitengrill. Er is ook een eigen ingang naar uw aparte verdieping. Zo comfortabel queensize bed met het geluid van het meer dat je inslaapt. En op die koude dagen, laat je blote voeten genieten van de verwarmde vloer in je suite. Er is een zitkamer / optionele tweede slaapkamer en bad met open haard naast het bubbelbad dek met uitzicht op het meer ook (extra kosten voor het gebruik van de tweede slaapkamer als slaapvertrekken). Geniet ook van de buitendouche! Gebruik van infraroodsauna en bubbelbad. Draadloos internet voor uw rustige dagen aan de kade, waar u uw boot kunt parkeren, op kleine bassen kunt vissen en zwemmen. Er is een rustiek pad naar het meer. Lokaal wandelen en fietsen.
Beroemde resort golfbaan, winkels en restaurants op slechts 25 minuten van het charmante Coeur d 'Alene. Was ook!
OPMERKING OVER WINTERBEZOEKEN: als u ervoor kiest om ons te bezoeken wanneer er sneeuw en / of ijs op de grond ligt, vragen wij u minimaal een vierwielaandrijving en enige ervaring met rijden op sneeuw en ijs. De weg dicht bij ons wordt altijd opengehouden. Onze toegangsweg wordt ook altijd opengehouden en kan soms moeilijk zijn zonder aandrijving op alle wielen en enige ervaring met rijden op sneeuw / ijs. Bovendien sluiten we vaak de privé-ingang van uw suite voor de veiligheid, maar geen zorgen, omdat de voordeur direct naar uw suite leidt.

This place is just what the Dr ordered. Fabulous lake views and comfortable accommodations. The owners were kind and available for any questions, and the hot tub is perfect for looking out over the lake and enjoying a glass of wine.

Our overall stay was wonderful and just the getaway we needed. The property and home is very beautiful and the hosts are terrific. I should have done better research because I did not know they were going to be upstairs during our visit. We live in a beautiful home alone in Spokane and was looking for a quiet, and private getaway with a hot tub. The hot tub is great! Another little complaint to note, there’s no tv in the bedroom so if you want to lay in bed and watch a movie you cannot. You must de dressed and down the hallway in a tv room. Again, we were still pleased and enjoyed the stay. I will do better research next time but good for folks to know. Thank you.

We had a nice time at this stay - it’s a beautiful property and was very clean. However, this listing is quite misleading. The stay is in the lower level of the hosts’ home and is not entirely private / segregated. If this is the type of stay you are hosting, it should be extremely clear on the listing so people know what they are paying for. We were looking for seclusion on the lake and instead were instructed to enter through the front door of the hosts’ home. VRBO should not allow this type of false advertising, especially given that their whole marketing strategy is that they “only offer private stays.”

My wife and I have wanted to visit family in Idaho but wanted our own getaway. We found this place and we couldn’t have been happier. The host promptly answered our question prior to our arrival he gave suggestions if we wanted to stop for dinner prior to our arrival. He meet us when we arrived and give us a tour of the property. It is nestled on a hillside overlooking the lake. There is a view from every room including the bathroom. There are 2 decks to relax outside and you are a 2 minute walk to a private dock. I’m new to fishing and couldn’t wait to try. I caught many bass, from small to some over 5lbs. I caught my first pike and that was amazing. You’re about a 35 minute drive to Lake Coeur d’elane resort which was busy with shops, restaurants and a long bike/walking trail along the lake. Our favorite day was when we drove to the town of Harrison,where we rode our bike along the lake for a 30 mile round trip. When we got back we enjoyed a nice lunch and then ice cream in the park while watching a live band. The people were friendly and we had a blast. So if you want a great place in a great location where you can enjoy peace and quiet while not being too far from touristy things, this is the place to do it. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

It is a great property for a couple. Don't expect a lot of kitchen space, but for summer it is ideal with BBQ to cook outside. We enjoyed a living space, both patios and a deck on the lake. My only recommendation for Ted is to do something with wasps. It was impossible to eat outside. On the other note, I would update listening by saying that Wi-Fi is not available. But in general, we had a very relaxing time and fully recharged our social batteries in this quiet and rural area. Ted and Bonnie are great hosts. Thank you both!

For several decades I’ve dreamt of visiting Lake Coeur d’Alene. This summer my husband and I stayed at Ted and Bonnie’s beautiful lake house retreat for four nights. The setting was gorgeous overlooking the lake through the plentiful windows and from both decks. ALL their amenities were appreciated, plus, the comfortable bed and lounging furniture. They’ve covered every detail for a memorable stay. Ted even added information to help us become familiar with dining opportunities and activities. Our visit was everything I needed it to be!!! I hope to return some day!

Ted was very kind and helpful; however, he was also respectful of our privacy and barely knew they were there. The house is gorgeous, with amazing views of the lake. Most of the time we utilized their awesome dock and had the best time. Definitely would love to return.

We had such a delightful and relaxing visit. We certainly delighted in the quiet, and well-designed and appointed spaces. We particularly enjoyed both outdoor spaces for leisurely breakfasts and time to watch the sun go down over the lake. We will certainly welcome our first opportunity to stay again at Ted & Bonnie’s space.

Everything was great. A couple comments for the future guests, bigger refrig, put on deck outside and maybe for safety a handrail on the steps to the boat dock. Enjoyed our stay, your home is very nice! Come an see us in arizona.

It is clean, comfortable and relaxing with beautiful views. We were looking for peace and quiet. We found it here. The decks have plenty of space with comfortable furniture. Our favorite spot was next to the outdoor fireplace snuggled up with a blanket. Such a beautiful space. Our only suggestion is new mattress set for the bed. There is a 1x4 between the box spring and the mattress for support. Other than that, it was a lovely, well done space. The host was attentive, kind and thoughtful. Thank you for the stay.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The location is very private. Ted and Bonnie were very friendly, giving us a thorough tour of the property when we checked in. Since this was a winter trip for us we loved having the private hot tub, and also got lots of use of the fireplace in the living room area. (My only suggestion would be having a DVD player, as we’d packed movies to watch over the weekend while we snuggled into our getaway and we weren’t able to.) The home is gorgeous, with top end furnishings. Thanks for a lovely weekend Ted & Bonnie!! We enjoyed it!!

The property was more then we imagined. We enjoyed the sun set & outdoor fireplace each night. The view of the lake was spectacular. The space was well maintained. The drive to the house was beautiful along the lake. The attention to details was wonderful, from the robes ,to the coffee, snacks & body wash. Well done.

This is a truly beautiful property in a stunning location. The guest unit is fairly self-contained with direct access from the driveway. We chose the property because of the outdoor space and deck areas. This certainly did not dissapoint and in reality - much better than anticipated. Having a panoramic view from two decks gave us stunning views of the lake - in a way that the photographs just can't capture. It was a very quiet, peaceful setting to relax and unwind. Just perfect! The property was absolutely spotless - and Ted was the perfect host. 5 Stars *****

Million $$ lake views from every window + both decks and hot tub. Caring, attentive owners promptly responded to questions and provided info re area sites, restaurants, etc. Private dock included sun-chairs and covered mooring. This is an exceptional property!
