'We had an absolute fabulous time here! The house is spacious and clean and had a well-stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook there the whole time. My feedback for future renters: plan on cooking your meals in. There are not a whole lot of restaurants around you. We stopped at Costco in Lexington on the way in a bought food for the whole week. The boat dock is an adventure! I don't think I can express how steep that hill is to get down to it! I happened to have walking sticks that we use...

'We, family of 6 w 4 adult children and our small dogs spent a week here while at a family reunion. Nice at the house it had everything you’d need in the kitchen n baths including float to relax in the lake. And what a view. The challenge is getting here. The last 5 miles or so takes about 20 mins of hairpin turns up and down the tn hills. Use your gps overall we had a blast'

'The house is great. They have more stuff than you'd expect. It's a home away from home. It's close to great fishing and swimming. Highly recommend the property and Straight Creek Marina. You won't be disappointed.'

'This place was nice for a quick weekend lake trip. The proximity to the boat dock was clutch. There were window AC units in the living room and master bedroom which was nice, but the bunk room was pretty hot. However, the host had a bunch of box fans in the unit that made it completely fine. It served our needs perfectly for a weekend spent out on the water. '

'We had a wonderful time. Cherokee Lake is best kept secret, we’ve made it a yearly place to visit. Our family loved tubing and wakeboarding on the lake all week. The house was perfect and the best house for a large family with plenty of space for everyone to have their own space. The giant pantry is perfect for large groups and all the fridge and freezer space came in so handy. We plan to come back next summer! '
