'We got a complimentary upgrade upon arrival which was lovely. The downstairs rooms have a back door that leads to the gorgeous pool area. The room was clean and comfortabel and the staff was lovely and accommodating. And breakfast was great: there are various options to choose from, cooked or not. We only walked around a little, the center isn't very big, but we walked to the beach (approx. 15 minute walk) and it was beautiful there'

Belonging Beach is literally on the doorstep, and there's a great cafe/restaurant right next door. They also run hourly free shuttle services to/from the town centre which is super convenient. Highly recommend!'

'The property was great. With the exception of two parking spots, it had everything we needed, but we managed and hoped not to get a parking ticket. A perfect location and walking distance to all that we needed. It would probably be too expensive for us otherwise, but we stayed here for a special occasion weekend. One drawback was that we had concerns about how clean the dishes, silverware, and cutlery were when we first arrived. However, if the unit had more dishwasher tablets, this problem...
'Leuke plek in/op de rand van Byron Bay. Paar minuten wandelen naar het centrum. Gelegen in de natuur, tussen de bomen en jungle. Veel beestjes op het terrein, water dragons en kalkoenen. Michael en Charlie zijn zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het is in de jungle gelegen, dus je hebt wat beestjes in en om de cottage. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. '
'The Wollongbar Motel is a superb place to stay when visiting Byron Bay. It's really clean and well maintained. There's acees to thebeach from the motel grounds. It's a 3 minute walk from the centre of town. Cannot recommend it enough.'

The room was fine. The bunk beds are cheap, you can feel your downstairs neighbor move. The mattress had seen better days, it is thin and mine was so slept in it came with a clear impression of where other people slept. The bathroom and toilets are okay, but are not cleaned daily. '
