'The barn is situated on a family farm with the owner, Wendy, living in a neighbouring property. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by Wendy, a lovely welcome pack with cake, biscuits and fudge and even treats for our dog. Nothing is too much trouble and the cottage is equipped with all you could need and more. Although there were only two of us when we travelled, it is very spacious and would be ideal for a larger family with ample parking right outside and a lovely courtyard garden area.'

'Black Bull Cottage was perfect for our trip to Whitby. Only 10 minutes drive out and great value for money. It was very cosy and had everything we could need. The welcome hamper was appreciated with a bottle of wine, breadsticks and cookies. There was parking right outside and next door to a pub that served really nice food. It was a quiet, warm and relaxing place and the bed was very comfortable. I'd recommend for a winter break :-)'
