'It's peaceful and quiet '

'The kids were playing hockey on hallways as late as 10 pm. Loud! Had to call front desk. Perhaps out the non hockey guests on a different floor? Or have in room curfew at 9? I was a sorts mom for many years and understand the challenges of keeping kids in check but parents and staff need to be vigilAnt'

'This is not a cookie-cutter hotel in a chain. The Beachwood has well-appointed rooms with quality linens, moldings, and upholstery throughout and a well-designed restaurant. Always a pleasure to stay here. Chapel downstairs is well-worth a peek to see the antique stained glass windows.'

'Entrance and exit off route 146 are poorly marked and require hard braking and acceleration off and on the highway. Locks on sliding window were non- functional. Walls are thin so music played next door comes through - ear plugs or ear buds recommended.'

'The room we had was clean but not spacious. Because we had booked for 4 nights we tried to get a bigger room but to no avail. Biggest disappointment was the airconditioner, which was very noisy. The staff was ok, but not exceptional in customer friendliness (see above). The exception being the lady in charge in the breakfast room. She was very friendly and helpful.'
