Only problem is that everywhere to eat in town closes at 4-5 pm and the hotel offers only a very large prix fixe dinner that must be reserved in advance. A hotel in this price range should make allowances for guests who don’t want or need the full dinner experience. '

'Best part is you are steps from the shrine. Dinner was in a private room. Hotel is on top of a creek with waterfall. Onsen was perfect. It was the crown jewel of our vacation. '

'Hotel is very close to the ferry pier and the torii gate. Cute but cheeky deers are passing by the hotel and restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Friendly and helpfull staff, an additional breakfast reservation in the evening the day before was no problem.'
