'We had a nice stay at this property - the spa, feijoa trees and fireplace were awesome! The beds and rest of the house were comfortable. Place is 10mins walk to the beach which was lovely. The only negative is that the lounge doesn’t get much sun or natural light, but the fireplace made it warm enough. We also had issues when leaving the place not realising that the cleaning fee we paid only covers laundry of linen. This wasn’t mentioned on the website at the time of booking so something to be...

'Wow, what a hidden gem tucked into the sandhills at Waitaere beach. A perfectly private spot for an extened family holiday. Beautifuly clean, great outside and inside spaces for kids and adults alike. 'This large property is home away from home, with a well stocked kitchen, a very full linen cupboard and bathrooms with all the lotions and potions you may need. Added to this a fully fenced section for the dog and log fire and this place was perfect. Highly recommended, for the location (a very short walk to the beach) and a wonderful host who was very responsive.'

'The property is fully fenced and secure. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The weather wasn’t great during our stay so we didn’t use the outdoor area much. We did enjoyed a few games of pool and table tennis in the game room, which is a very nice touch to the bach!'

'Our stay here was twofold. One: quality time together and Two: a tryout for the young dogs in a boarding kennel not far away. The last night the dogs stayed with us. The bach was awesome. Very well laid out and complete. If anything, we couldn’t find any ice cube trays so our G&T was a bit make do. For the rest just great. Hear the moreporks at night, swim in the river at Pots Reserve. Best kept secret: Kuku Beach. Don’t go there folks to keep it a secret 😁'
