Adembenemend uitzicht op zee Beach Cottage

Dit vernieuwde, knusse huisje ligt op een privéstrand met wit zand, beschermd door rif. Geweldig om te snorkelen en veilig voor kinderen! Je zult genieten van zwemmen met schildpadden en een verscheidenheid aan kleurrijke vissen! Ga gewoon zitten op het serene zandstrand, geniet van de weelderige bergen en betoverende zonsopgangen. U zult zeker ontspannen in dit unieke verblijf met één slaapkamer en de ware magie van Hawaii ervaren.

Het huisje is ingericht in eilandstijl door lokale kunstenaars. Het is comfortabel geschikt voor maximaal 4 personen, een queensize bed in de slaapkamer en twee aparte eenpersoonsbedden. Andere voorzieningen zijn: gratis wifi, snel internet, 32 inch smart-tv met high definition-programmering, volledige keuken, magnetron, koelkast, wasmachine / droger, barbecue, zwembad en gratis gereserveerde parkeerplaatsen.

Het huisje ligt op slechts 5 minuten van de belangrijkste toeristische attractie van Oahu "The Polynesian Cultural Centre." Je zou een hele dag door de tijd en de ruimte kunnen reizen terwijl je jarenlange echte cultuur ervaart uit zes verschillende eilandlanden. Sluit de dag af met een inspirerende show nummer 1 in de staat. "Breath of Life" met ongelooflijke traditionele dansen, vuurdansers, kleurrijke kostuums, het herinnert iedereen eraan hoe kostbaar het leven is!

De stad Punalu'u biedt een verscheidenheid aan activiteiten, waaronder schilderachtige kustritten, bezienswaardigheden, wandelen, SUP, golfen van wereldklasse, paardrijden, walvissen spotten, vissen, skydiven, surfen en winkelen. Amazing close access to super amazing and more calm beaches for waves which is ideal for middle age kids who aren't as water savvy. Excellent towels with sugar and coffee filters and pancake syrup to help first settling in. Backpack Beach chairs in closet were genius. Fans were loud but i didn't mind as it helped drop the temp in this second story condo unit to keep the temps down. The view was a wild sight every morning to a fresh cup of coffee that you can grind up yourself with the blender. Lots of turtles here and not crazy for rocks when in the crystal blue turquoise water. The few rock perches there are is where the turtles hang out.Only slight thing to note is that there are not two bedrooms, its one open room that has a sliding divider to divide the larger bed in the partition from the trundle bed that pulls out a separate bed underneath it. Nothing wrong with it at all as easily sleeps for four just hard to understand "bedroom 1 / bedroom 2" from the pics of the listing.Still worked amazing for our home base needs to explore oahu for the first time. Absolutely great for other families of 4!

Awesome location and house but seems a little neglected. It coukd be the perfect place but for poor building management. Simple but important repairs needed. Fan remote missing, lights didnt work in main living space, windows didnt open, broken beach chair, broken trifold door, confusing laundry room situation (combo given but door has a key lock).

Amazing beautiful stay

We had the absolute best stay here! It’s a quiet location with an amazing beach steps away and driving distance from other breathtaking beaches. We saw turtles right next to us on the beach. The sunrise view from the beds here are amazing. It does get a little warm but with the fans and windows open it was fine, even in mid July. Check out Kaya’s market (5 min walk) for great local breakfast or lunch! 2 min drive to coffee cove which was also amazing. There is everything you need for a beach day supplied here (towels, snorkels, chairs, everything!). Couldn’t have asked for anything better here! Beds are comfy too.

Nice beach cottage right Infront of the beach. Always plenty of space on the beach. Everything you’d need in the cottage. Snorkels, boogie board, cooler, towels etc. we left our floaty behind for someone else to enjoy. Waking up in a beautiful colored room was nice. Lots of turtles beached early morning and after dark, to walk by and see. It definitely gets hot in the cottage. So keep blinds and windows closed during the day when you’re gone in order to help a bit. The fans help as well, that they provide. And this area is close to so many cool things to do, and see.

Nice getaway

It’s a great place for a small family. There was four of us and it worked well especially with the kids being younger. We were only there to eat and sleep, so it worked. It’s a little more of a drive to restaurants and activities. We are always wanting to stay away from the bigger city and this was perfect. Great location with access to the beach. Had some basic beach equipment available to use. Hoping for future visits able to stay here again.

The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now for future guests. The main bed mattress is absolutely horrible, it’s so soft. You cannot even sit on the side without falling off. That mattress must be replaced with a proper sleeping mattress. Other than those issues, the cottage has a very secluded beach, you hear the waves all night long and feel the ocean breeze all night long and is fairly secluded. Very cute very quaint. I have a two

Thank you Paola for letting us stay at your place, it is such a cosy cottage with absolutely everything we needed. The view is amazing, quiet place, but close to North shore fun, Kualoa ranch, Polynesian center… If we ever come back, would book it here again.

Cute and Quiet

The apartment was cute and to us the perfect location. Easy to drive to from the airport and easy to find. It's away from the city and directly on the beach. There were beach chairs and umbrellas provided. The surrounding area and neighbors are very quiet. I would not say this listing is a cottage. When I thought of cottage I thought of a stand alone structure. There are a total of 4 apartments, together that stand apart from a larger apartment building. This wasn't a deal breaker; we were expecting a stand alone, with an area to sit outside on a patio and relax. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything we needed. I will say we over looked that there is no A/C and 2 of the 3 windows in the main room didn't open to let in that much needed air flow. Sleeping at night was okay because it did cool off. Communication with the host was a let down. I contacted the host months in advance requesting an early check-in. Host was willing to work with me. I reminded them again right before we left and the morning we landed. Instead of being transparent and telling me an early check-in was not possible or there would be an additional fee, they left me on the hook with vague answers, then no answers. That was frustrating and unnecessary It's okay to say that cannot be accommodated or there's a fee. Do not leave your client in limbo. Overall, our group of 4 was happy with the stay and made everything work. We'd stay again.

Perfect location

This place is in the most beautiful spot. Sorkling, swimming and watching turtles meant we had entertainment on our door step. The only thing to comment on is its small for a family of 4. The description of 1br is pushing the truth a little. Its more like a studio apartment. The kitchen is small with little cupboard room. In saying that i would book again in a heart beat.

Gorgeous views

So, let me start by the location. It’s on the north eastern side of the island, very calm and chill area. No Waikiki crowds to deal with. When you drive into the place is not much to look at until you walk into your cottage. Easy self access with the lock box and good instructions. The views are beautiful. From this side of the island you get the sunrise view. The unit is self is very well appointed, blankets and sheets are clean and comfortable. The place had condiments and all the basics so no need to bring. In addition, there were beach towels, chairs and other stuff to use on the beach which was steps away. There is no AC.. but I have to note, the winds you get from the open windows are awesome and all you need are the fans, I didn’t mind it at all. We slept with the windows open listening to the ocean breezes. Pure Hawaii experience and splendor. I would stay again.

Birthday trip celebration

This place was perfect for our needs. Away from the crowds, and quiet (although there was construction going on, it didn’t bother us one bit). Waking up to that sunrise every day, oh my goodness, breathtaking! Easy check in and check out. The place has beach chairs, beach towels, shower towels, two beach umbrellas, surfboards and a few beach toys as well. Everything you might need at the beach. One thing we did take was a backpack cooler for the beach days away from the cabana. We loved staying here. Highly recommended.

Cozy condo with amazing views!

Our stay was wonderful! Paola was easy to communicate with and everything was as expected with the property. Enjoyed snorkeling and seeing lots of sea turtles on the beach! The area was very nice with lots of cool beaches and food trucks along the highway. Would absolutely stay here again when we visit Oahu again! Mahalo nui loa!

Great, but I touch misleading.

We enjoyed our stay here. Definitely worth a visit. The initial impression was a bit off-putting. The cottage is nestled amongst large condo buildings and a large parking lot. It did not have the remote location the pictures gave us the impression of. After cruising Oahu it became apparent that this is remote for the Island. The "cottage" was nice, but we could hear our downstairs neighbors music all day. The lack of blinds for windows on the ground in the living room make it hard to get complete privacy. Overall we liked the place, but it did seem like a slight bait and switch. Overall, I wouldn't return to Oahu (prefer the Big Island), but if I did I'd consider renting this spot, again.

Great for the price

This is the second time we have stayed at this development but the first time in this specific cottage. I love the area…no crowds and perfect location on a private beach. Definitely not fancy and there is no night life, but I knew that going in and prefer a more lowkey stay anyway. I would stay here again, but there a few things keeping it from being perfect for my family. 1) Lack of AC was tough in the middle of August when it is super hot and humid…even with all windows open and running the fans. The only relief was sitting directly in front of a fan. Perhaps if it was a different time of year it would be fine? 2) The access code provided on the VRBO app was different from the access code provided in a separate email. However, when I called the host she was very helpful and kind. The email had the correct one, ignore the VRBO app! 3) While the cottage is very cute and tastefully decorated, EVERY surface is filled with knickknacks or decoration. There was nowhere for my family of four to put our stuff! I ended up just moving alot of the items to one area so that we had room on the tables, etc. to put stuff. Remembering where to put it back to when we left was a challenge! Lol! All in all it was a nice place to stay and a reasonable price for the location and beautiful view!
