Spectacular!
Nestled in a serene corner of Maui, our stay at this property offered more than just luxury—it was an escape into a tropical haven. The quiet, semi-private beach provided a tranquil retreat, and the ocean view showcased jumping, playing whales, adding a magical touch to each day. A stroll to the sacred labyrinth by Dragon’s Teeth added a spiritual and cultural dimension, making our experience not only luxurious but also culturally enriching. There are excellent dining options within walking distance or a short drive away. Located on the west side of Maui, it's worth noting that you may need to add an extra hour for travel to major attraction tours. Nevertheless, this property is a true gem for those seeking a harmonious blend of natural beauty and upscale comfort.

10 year anniversary
We stayed here 10 years ago for our wedding and we knew we'd come back to Maui for our anniversary. This time we brought our 2 kids and I was so excited to find the same exact villa we stayed in before. We stayed in a hotel our first 2 nights, and realized that you can't beat the privacy of this unit. Having no upstairs or downstairs neighbors is essential when you have kids that are excited to be in Maui. The beach was a short walk and the pool is just steps away. I could not have been happier that we got lucky with this location 10 years ago and that we were able to find it again.

Excellent Location on Kapalua Coastal Trail
We’ve stayed at the Kapalua Ridge Villas several times and had good experiences but wanted to try Kapalua Bay Villas this time around and glad we did. This condo was steps away from the stunning Kapalua Coastal Trail which we walked several times a day to get to the beach, Merriman’s, Pickleball courts, the Ritz, golf, or the Honolua Store. It’s also right at the small pool and grills that overlook the ocean. The condo was well appointed, nicely updated, and had a great AC. Although one bedroom, the downstairs does provide privacy if you have another guest sleeping on the pull out sofa, complete with a small, but full second bathroom also downstairs. Professional and friendly manager that promptly answered questions. The Kapalua Bay/Kapalua Ridge Villas are an absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained complex. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location. The Kapalua Coastal Trail was steps away from the condo and very easy to navigate. The condo was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We enjoyed Taverna & the Sea House restaurants and close proximity to Lahaina. Highly recommend !

Gorgeous Property! Amazing Location- had everything we could have wanted!
We LOVED this property. It was filled with every amenity we needed, the washer and dryer are a HUGE plus! The neighborhood was super quiet and lovely! The area is not super kid friendly, which was perfect for us, but the Ritz property is a close walk and there were kids everywhere. The property manager is very professional and responsive. We would absolutely stay there again!

This has been the most comforting and blissful of a Maui vacation ever for us. The condo is clean and comfortable with all the amenities and fun and relaxing things to do. It was hard to leave the lanai sometimes.

bridal suite of my dreams!
This condo was everything I'd hoped for and more! I rented it for our wedding and it had everything we needed. The check in process was super easy and communicating with the owner was a breeze. The property itself is exactly how it is pictured in the ad, if not better! It was immaculately clean, updated, and had all the amenities we needed. It was a really nice space for my bridal party to get ready on the morning of my wedding and everyone loved the condo. The pool was really convenient, just steps away from the lanai. The air conditioning was really great, which was so nice since we did hair & makeup at the house---no makeup melting off the face! We were so sad to leave the condo and Kapalua---we loved the community and the home that we had for our wedding. Mahalo to Dave and his amazing Maui home!

Our Perfect Stay
My wife and I have stayed in many condos up and down the West side of Maui. Without a doubt this is the best we have rented thru VRBO. While it may not be the best for a family with children, as a couple it was perfect. The pictures on VRBO are very accurate as to what you will have. The area is quiet and and pools are great. The kitchen has a of the necessary items for meal preparation. Communications with the property manager, Dave, was great. I cannot comment on other condos at the Bay Villas, but this one will be our go to stay location when we return to paradise. We will be back!

This lovely place is tucked away in the Kapalua Villas, a very quiet/private/safe community. We loved being on the west side of Maui and this condo was so beautiful! Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking (including a rice maker), the upstairs bedroom allows for great privacy/separation between living and sleeping areas, the showers were nice and hot, and we really enjoyed being so close to secluded public beach. For food we were in close proximity to groceries, the Honolua general store, Joey's Kitchen and other great little spots to pick up food. We will come here again for sure. Thank you for hosting us!

Breathtaking views and comfortable living
My wife and I had an amazing time in this villa. We had everything we needed in the house. The kitchen was stocked and allowed us to make meals and enjoy them on the patio, which had great views. However, the bedroom views topped it with even better views of the ocean. There were also beach chairs that we took with us to the walkable beaches near by. We would love to stay here in the future!

Couples Get Away
The perfect get away. The view is amazing! We watched the wales from the patio and enjoyed the walking path along the beach. The condo had a great supply of Chairs, beach towels, umbrella, cooler, etc. Close to a variety of restaurants, but you can also save money by grabbing groceries at Costco or Walmart by the airport.

We spent a week in the ocean front Bay Condo at Kapalua. You enter the property from ground level. There is a nice kitchen. Full sized appliances, all in good working order. A table for 6, full bath, tv and coach. My daughter spent the week on the sofa sleeper. She would not have described the sleeper as comfortable. They provided blankets, sheets and pillows. Large screened sliding glass doors take you outside to a patio with table and chairs. Across the lawn and down a few stairs takes you to the pool and BBQ’s. Pool was nice, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and watching the whales. Up a flight of stairs is a full bath, walk-in in shower, washer/dryer. A very comfortable king sized bed, TV and a couple chairs that face the ocean. You are probably a 100 yards from the water and can watch the waves roll in. There is a small patio off the bedroom that we didn’t use. The manager Dave at mauiplatiniumvacations was easy to work with.

We couldn't have picked a nicer villa, nicely nestled in a prime location within the Kapalua Bay Resort! The condo was very well done, spotless, fully stocked, cozy & inviting. Dave was wonderful in providing all of the information & assistance we needed in order to "set up" for our week in the villa! The second level bedroom was perfect in every way, including a wonderful bed, lounge chairs and plenty of storage space! The room provided unobstructed water views through the floor to ceiling windows that encompassed the entire end wall of the room! It provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy sunrise & sunset views, to wake up to and to end a day! Even during a few rainy periods we totally enjoyed the comfort of watching the whales, as well as observing the changing sea & sky colors, all right from our bedroom! The small lanai off of the bedroom also provided relaxing outside space on the second floor and the patio on the ground level was a beautiful & relaxing dining spot. The pool access was quite convenient and it was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the climate and the views of the bay and the mountain. We cannot say enough good things about the villa & Dave's help, start to finish. t was definitely a great choice to allow us to relax & enjoy Kapalua! Perfect in every way.

We had some trouble finding a spot to put our pack N play, however we knew coming in that this was a 1 bedroom property, so the late nights of our toddler waking up were on us. Great spot - we'd come back
This is a great apt in the Kapalua area. We've tried the Ridge condos and now these. We prefer the Bay condos. This unit had nice furnishings, great bathrooms, and a comfortable bed. This was just my wife and me (I think there's a pull-out couch downstairs) We were not sure we'd like a ground floor apt, but the bedroom is on the upper floor looking out at the ocean. We were either on the beach, on the move, or relaxing in the upstairs bedroom which has chairs. Though this 2nd bedroom has a lanai, it opens up into an corridor of the two buildings and picks up a lot of noise from the other AC units. Much nicer to sit on the ground level lanai with feet near the grass, looking at the pool and out to the ocean. On this lanai, you will hear the ocean. We were there off-season (Oct), so overall visitor level was low. The pool is excellent and close, but not too close to the apt. We would jump into the pool sometimes after a run (they have outdoor showers by the pool as well) or early morning before heading to the beach. Hardly anyone else there. Walking distance to 2 beaches. The community of Napili has a good grocery store, new vegan juice place, long standing BBQ place, etc. The unit has some beach chairs, towels, boogie boards which is useful. Though we do recommend a car when out here. The property manager was great and helped fix one minor issue immediately the next day. He also provided a custom recommendation list with meaningful reviews of places. As you evaluate these types of units there are always trade-offs between price, view, and the state of the interior/furnishings. The whole package you get here is a great value for a couple or very small family.

Dave was great to work with and everything went smooth. This condo was a few minutes drive or shuttle from three great beaches or a 10-15 minute walk. There is a beach just a few minutes walk but only safe at high tide. Great trail along the coast right outside the condo and bbqs at the pool. Our only recommendations for the condo itself are to replace the washer and dryer and maybe stock with plastic cups since glass is not allowed in the pool area. We were there 11 days and needed the washer and dryer to work properly - they were on the fritz and were only told once we showed up. I would only recommend for two people or three people max as the pull out couch was not comfortable and creaks when you move so our daughter just slept on the couch itself, which worked out fine. Overall we had a really good time and would rate location and amenities a 5 and condo a strong 4 because of the washer and dryer.

Aloha Jason, Mahalo for taking the time to leave a comprehensive review with some good 5 star pros and unfortunately a few cons you experienced while staying with us. Even though the washer dryer combo is less than 4 years old we have ordered a new set because this set although not cheap has been very disappointing. To make up for that we have been offering our guest an inclusive laundry service by our own personnel until the new set arrives. The new set is the best available the laundry space allows. I appreciate your bringing it to my attention that we need to bring in a new set of plastic cups, I was not aware we were short on those. We find that they often disappear; we think they are often left at the pool and bbq areas by our vacationing guests inadvertently of course. As you see in our many 5 star reviews, we do our best to provide an awesome experience with little to no shortcomings. We will most certainly continue to do so and look forward to accommodating more happy guests with more 5 star reviews to come!

Amazing stay at great property with beautiful views!
My husband and I just finished a 5 night stay and and we hated to leave. This rental more than met our expectations. Dave and his lovely wife were more than helpful and made checking in a breeze. The condo has been recently renovated and is even nicer than the pictures. The furniture is top of the line and the decor is a tasteful Hawaiian theme. The living room leads to the lanai and the view from both is spectacular. We sat outside enjoying the views of the pool and ocean as we ate breakfast or had a bottle of wine in the afternoon. The location was great, with easy access to the beach and just steps away from the pool. The bedroom is located upstairs and has an unparalleled view of the ocean. There are many restaurants close by and the Honolua store where you can grab a quick breakfast, lunch or anything else you might need. Absolutely loved this property and will come back again!

Incredible month at Kapalua

This was our second visit to the Bay Villas at Kapalua. The unit was spectacular. Everything needed was supplied. The entire unit was spotless and very well taken care of. The view was breath taking and we were able to see a few whales even though it was early in the season. The dining around the unit is second to none. I recommend this property as highly as possible. The property manager is the best I have ever dealt with.

Lovely property
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the villa. The recently renovated kitchen and baths were nicely done. The view from the bedroom is amazing....there's nothing like sitting up in bed and seeing the waves and even whales off in the distance. The unit is close to a great walking trail and a couple of beaches. It is just steps from one of the several on property pools. There were chairs, beach equipment/toys and a cooler for use. Even though our flight arrived late at night, Dave met us at the unit and showed us around. He gave us a list of recommended restaurants and attractions and offered any assistance that we may need. There are a few restaurants within walking distance or you can call the shuttle to take you to several destinations within the property. Great value for the location; I would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Kapalua Bay Villas complex. Dave was a very considerate host and even met us before we enter the Bay Villas complex and then escorted us to the apartment. Wonderful villa - perfect location
We just returned from a great vacation made all the better by staying in this Kapalua Bay Villa. It's even better in reality than the pictures - especially the view from the upstairs bedroom! This villa was super clean with lots of extras both in decor and amenities that helped out and made the villa all the more beautiful. And what a wonderful location. We knew we liked Kapalua but this unit is perfectly situated to walk to 2 beaches - one is literally less than a 5min walk from villa to sand. And having the backpack beach chairs and a cooler right there make it so easy. And the pool is right outside your door. You can also walk to grocery or a few restaurants or use the shuttle or just a quick trip in car if you'd rather. And after watching the sea turtles playing you'll understand the beautiful custom tile work even better! We definitely recommend this unit and I'm sure we'll be back to this property again ourselves!

what a great place....we have stayed at various villa's at kapalua but this one was the best! wonderful views and the villa was as advertised. dave has done a nice job with the unit and was a fabulous host. he met us at check in and gave us a run through of the villa and even provided a list of local restaurants that he recommended. we would not hesitate to stay here again. thanks dave!

Property has beautiful views over a green lawn and the ocean. The place was quiet and spacious, and had all the amenities. The kitchen, although quite small, was very well appointed with every utensil and appliance, and even some spices and condiments. The property is right along the walking trail, and very close walking to several beaches, and restaurants. Would stay there again. Had a wonderful time in Kapalua!

Beautiful in every way!
My husband and I enjoyed a very restful and relaxing time. The home is really well appointed and Dave and his wife are so attentive and conscientious. We love the Kapalua area and this villa was the perfect way to enjoy the beauty all around. We always enjoy the trail that was just several steps from the villa and we even used the grill and ate al fresco in the patio facing the ocean. Wonderful memories!!
