'I stayed at Wombalee with my partner & our dog, this July.It was an awesome home to enjoy the views, nearby bushwalks, visiting Mayfield Gardens, antique stores as well as exploring the property’s beautiful paddock & acreage.Highlights of most days was visiting the butchers in town, going back to the well-appointed kitchen for a cookup while the fireplace was being setup, then chilling on the super-comfy sofas with a red wine & or the local port.'

'From the time we reached there, Allan and Loraine made us feel welcomed as if we were visiting family or friends.The property was super clean, very well supplied and they seem to have carefully considered little details to make the experience great - things like there is a small torch in keychain for example. The porch has amazing mountain views and you can enjoy perfect sunset. They are also beekeepers, they offered us free honey tasting and samples. We really liked it and purchased some of it....

'The house was really clean and comfortable for my young family. The house was nice and warm so everyone was really comfortable at night which was a priority for the time of the year we travelled and with young children. Location was perfect and really easy to get around. '

'The house is wonderful , sadly for this visit the weather was not great so we didn’t really get the opportunity to explore the property or area.However we were comfortable and warm in the house Our host was very hospitable and understanding when we had to change our schedule twice '

'Our family of 4 visited the area around Oberon to go fossicking and Hillcrest Farm Stay was a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The kids particularly enjoyed the fire pit in the cold weather! The host, Neil, was very responsive in the lead up, and also hospitable and attentive during our stay. We will definitely be back!'

'Very relaxing environment very easy to unwind. Love that the focus is on environment and surrounds through the art and garden displays rather than TV being the central focus with some places. Great to have fresh eggs for breakfast too!'

'Vera's of Oberon has been carefully & lovingly renovated to be a welcoming home away from home. Dan was a lovely and responsive host and made our stay very easy.Vera's was an excellent base for our adventures in the country and was a highlight of our trip!'

'definitely 5 star! everything from the house to the view to the hosts couldn't rate any higher. I had some odd requests over the days and everything was catered for with no exception. Stunning house very family friendly complete with farm animals to interact with! absolute hidden gem. Will definitely be back!'
