'A good location with car parking at the back. Comfy beds, although our room was a bit small. If we had have been staying more than one night we would have wanted a bigger room. The food for breakfast and dinner was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. A large beer garden at the rear and a large screen to watch the football on.'

'Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.'

'Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. 'What a lovely place to stay. Friendly, accommodating, quiet, comfortable is only the start of the experience. Definitely book for the dinner which is excellent and served in the small but intimate restaurant. Breakfast - really good with locally supplied produce - doesn't get much better. We stayed in the Bothy which was very big and even had a little kitchenette. Proper fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge meant a decent cup of tea could be had watching the rabbits and guinea fowl on the...

'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days. Nice bar area and nice selection of ales. The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '

'Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.'
