In de kamer was een badkuip alhoewel ik bij de bestelling een douche gevraagd had. Voor 50 £ per nacht kreeg ik een veel grotere kamer met grote badkamer met badkuip en kleine douche van 70x70 cm waarin je je onmogelijk kon bukken. 'Had a lovely welcome from the reception staff and the staff in general were very friendly and accommodating. We had room 306 and the view of the golf course was gorgeous. The room was large and spaces and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, could tell it was all locally sourced. The pool facilities were a bit disappointing, not enough seating around the pool and only one pool to share with the public. Steam and sauna very small. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, which were served promptly after ordering. Room was nice, clean and had everything you might need. Breakfast was substantial and very nice. 'Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.'
