'A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away.'

'To my surprise was the only guest during my stay. The hosts were kind and considerate. The room is small but tidy and in well maintained condition. Separate shower which is a bit basic but sufficient, the bathroom is en suite though. There is also a drawing room which you share with a lodger, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Breakfast gives you a choice between continental and full English breakfast in a very nice room. '

'First time staying at The Crown Inn and I already can’t wait to go back. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. 'Room smelt damp, bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was nice though and breakfast ladies were lovely'

'Large clean room with crisp sheets on the bed. Both the bed and the pillows were too firm, resulting in limited sleep I was convinced that continental breakfast was included when I booked the room. However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp.'
