It would be useful to have a mirror in the room as well as in the shared bathroom. We had to wait 20 minutes for the bathroom to be vacated by the folks in the other room in order to use the mirror.

'Wonderful location and setting. The hotel leans into it's historic location. Beautiful flowers adorning the building make it even more impressive. Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and friendly staff. Very accessible for activities in the area.'

Only minor issue, the windows only have blinds, these do not effectively block out the light so awake quite early.

'This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.
