'although the pod was small, it was comfortable. Although the kitchen was shared it was well equipped and not busy. Being a bit older not having an attached washroom was not great.'

'Great'

'We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot.'

'The location was the best. Right at the beginning of the cabin trail'

'The location was awesome - walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shop. An hour from the cabot trail. Place was spotless, beds were extremely comfortable and everything you need was provided. Highly recommend.'

'Outdoor and inner space was excellent. Appears to be new. Well appointed.'

'It was an upgrade for camping. The nice thing about the accommodation was that there were flush toilets and showers as well as a fully functional kitchen in the communal building. The outdoor lighting wasn’t very bright so a good bright flashlight is a must. It will help you to locate the assigned pod. Don’t bring large or a lot of luggage. 'Wonderful accommodations and the views of the ocean were amazing. Short walk down to the beautiful beach. Very quiet area and easy access to all things on the Cheticamp side of the island.'

The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!'

'This place is a perfect location on the Cabot Trail. You can hear the ocean at night. The pods are cozy and amenities are great! The staff are very helpful. Would love to stay here again on my next trip back.'

'This place was listed as 2 half bathroom s. In reality it was one half bathroom and a bathing only room. Very misleading. There was no Welcome Book to tell us anything. We look forward to that. Knives were quite dull. Very few plates. But there was one awesome fry pan that fried our eggs beautifully. Note on the wall said to put garbage in the garage. There was a lot of garbage in there from before us. However the host was very responsive and helpful when contacted. Nice quiet clean location.'
