Budgethotels in Higashi-Kishu

'Mon hôtel préféré de ce voyage au Japon. L'hôtel est luxueux pour un prix abordable. La chambre était gigantesque avec une vue mer. Le personnel, du moins, les personnes rencontrées, ne parle pas anglais mais est absolument fantastique et attentionné. Il y a un accès à la plage. Cependant, il n'y a pas de restaurant / café dans l'hôtel mais une sorte de kitchenette commune pour faire réchauffer ses plats. 'The onsen was just okay. I anticipated much better. The room was fine. What really bothered us was that they said that reservations made on Expedia do not support making a reservation for dinner. And, such reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Thus, they would not serve us dinner. The ryokan (a hotel) is way up a hill. They have a shuttle bus but they will only provide a trip to and from the Kumano-Shi station before and after check in. So, we had to take a taxi to go to...

'This hotel is a few minutes from the station and the beach. Well organized and clean. People are very helpful. Kumano City is not a very touristic area and you need some basic Japanese. In the surroundings are beautiful nature trails along the coast and wonderful rice terraces in the mountains. The tourist information opposite the station has lots of valuable information, also in English. '
