'The Royal Park Riverside Hiroshima was one of the strictest concerning Covid prevention, which is a good thing of course. This also meant wearing face mask and a plastic glove when taking something from the breakfast buffet.
Approx 10 min. on foot from Hiroshima JR station and 10min. from a bus stop and the Hop on-Hop off bus stop.
Rooms are a nice size, comfortable and clean, bathroom with all the amenities.
Staff very helpful. Recommended and I would stay here again myself. '

De kamers waren prima en schoon een beetje updating zou niet misstaan. Maar het ontbijt buffet liet veel te wensen over. Het was te klein waardoor er lange wachtrijen bij de ingang ontstonden. Er is alleen gratis koffie (waarom geen thee?) en koeken die men zoete brood noemt. De kwaliteit van dat gratis ontbijt is echt ondermaats en geen mogelijkheid van een goed ontbijt tegen betaling.'

'The hotel was approx 10 minutes walk from the (train)station of Hiroshima. The street was quiet and the building looked new and nice. Check-in was strictly as from 3 pm but we could leave our luggage there so we could explore the surroundings. The room was nice with two from the four beds on a higher level which gave more space. We liked the room/apartment and had a nice stay there.
The reception area is also a place where you can have a drink. There are not many restaurants on walking...

"Wat een mooi en indrukwekkend hotel. Prijs kwaliteit heel goed. Ik heb nog nooit zo een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet gezien. Ook mooie sauna/zwembad. Enigste nadeel hier is dat je een badmuts moet dragen in het zwembad en hiervoor nog huur voor moet betalen. Dit zou gewoon verrekend moeten zijn in de prijs zoals het gebruik van handdoeken."

Terwijl er om ons heen nog genoeg mensen zaten maar kennelijk sloot het buffet om 9:30. Wij waren absoluut niet luidruchtig. De mooiste tuin van Japan ligt volgens mij in Horoshima het is de Sukkei-en tuin. Prachtig creatief opgezet."
