'Just wrapped up a wonderful 2 night stay at Fairholme Manor! Property is immaculately maintained, in a quiet area but still a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Victoria. We stayed in suite number 7 (the penthouse), which was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Staff were friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend!'

'The apartment was very nice and spotlessly clean. It was much bigger than it appeared in the pictures, with a very nice large living room with a sectional sofa and a nice dining table suitable for 4. The bathroom is across the large living room from the bedroom, which allowed me to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking my wife! Don’t laugh that’s a very positive thing. The neighborhood is nice and we were able to walk in the evening and felt completely safe. I found it...

'Pros: rural setting, large suite, comfortable bed Cons: need electrical upgrade as only one kitchen appliance could operate at a time. 4 large dogs live upstairs- when they get excited lots of running and barking.'

'The cottage is well maintained. The little touches are nice, books to read, games available to play, doodle art book to color. The host and hostess went beyond to make sure I was settled in and comfortable. They even provided me breakfast foods so that I could eat before leaving as I had to leave before their scheduled breakfast time. Their property reflects their pride in their home. Their warm greetings made me wish I had more time than the overnight stay booked. Very friendly folk!'

'Statige woning met charmante kamers, elk met eigen naam en eigen cachet. Wij sliepen in the Duchess' Room. Ontbijt in een prachtig interieur, port en koffie in de bibliotheek in de namiddag, erg persoonlijke service. Een heel aangename ervaring.'

'Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. '
