'This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. '

'I’m afraid that no words or pictures can quite describe our stay at Pops cozy cabin! The views are stunning; the cabin was updated, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It had everything we needed for a mother/daughters weekend get away. We wish we had planned a longer stay- and will be back. This area of Virginia is close to so many things to do. Or, if you prefer having nothing to do, this is the place for you as well. It’s so peaceful sitting on the deck enjoying the scenery as the day...

'Wonderful place. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit. Loved cooking and just hanging out on the larger porch during the rain storm. '

'Cute cabin! Cute cows as neighbors, too! We enjoyed our stay. We ended up bringing an extra person and had plenty of room to add a twin air mattress to the loft. The back yard is very sloped so if you bring a dog, keep that in mind. There is plenty of room to walk dogs below the houses on the flatter grass. There is parking for two cars, but one spot is also very sloped. Definitely a repeat stay if we are back in the area. The host was very responsive! '

'This is an absolutely beautiful spot—the home was welcoming, beautiful and comfortable. The area very peaceful and enjoyable. Everything one could wish for both inside and outside was provided. The boat dock very nicely accommodated our boat. Very happy we had the opportunity to enjoy a week at this place. '
