'We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.'

'Beautiful pub opposite a babbling brook. So pretty. Made welcome from the start. Lovely double room with all you need. Great breakfast that sets you up for the day and ate there each of our four evenings. Food very good. Would highly recommend so long as you are happy to drive down very narrow country lanes and reversing back every so often as they are one vehicle roads. Part of being in the country as is being woken by the bleating sheep, quaking ducks and flying geese. Loved it. '

'We were in room 1. It was immaculate, big comfy bed Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean. Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required. Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends.'

'I had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, and the bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable; I had the best night's sleep. The view was spectacular, offering a perfect sight of the sea and the harbour inlet. The spa was top-notch, I highly recommend this option! I was delighted with the vegan menu, as it meant I didn't have to search for dining options elsewhere. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.'
