'Nice B&B, bed was very comfortable and the “help yourself” kitchen with coffee and snacks was perfect! My only issue with hotel is that as a solo traveler, it felt very odd to walk into a home and no one was there. You use a code to get into hotel and room but it still felt uncomfortable to me. I wondered if I was the only one there but then I would hear someone walking up stairs. Just a bit unsettling to me. I think if you stay as a couple, it would be perfect. The coupon for breakfast...

'Only thing I could complain about was the train being loud at night but that’s not a big deal. Beautiful location, we got to see a beaver while sitting by the river. Breakfast was great and everything was clean.'

'The hotel supposedly has a shuttle to pick up people from the airport. But once you arrive from Europe without phone credit or data, there is no way to reach the hotel to request the shuttle. The hotel was not very clean (not awful either). Breakfast was terrible: sugar wrapped in plastic. Area around the hotel not great.'

'We have previously liked staying here with our dog. However we were disappointed to see “upgrades” that had paved over the grassy areas off of the first floor rooms. Access to the river is precarious with no safe path, so walking our dog has now become somewhat inconvenient. Not having a microwave in the room nor a freezer section in the room fridge was also inconvenient. Other than that, it is quiet, clean, and close to downtown.'

'The room and bathroom are newly renovated. Everything is clean from the hotel room, lobby, pool area and breakfast area. Limited selection for the hot breakfast but you have the essentials, waffles, sausage or bacon, eggs and hash browns. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the heated toilet seat! The bed and pillows are comfortable! Excellent quality for the value. Excellent location. '

'We booked a room for 2, including breakfast. So we expected a fully covered breakfast and not a coupon for 20 dollar per room (2 persons). This did not cover a normal breakfast, the minimum price was 25 - 30 dollar for 2 persons. We complained about this and after some discussions we got a 30 dollar coupon. A bad experience. '

'Het city motel heeft mooi opgeknapte kamers en vriendelijk personeel. We verbleven er twee nachten. De keycards waren ingesteld voor 1 nacht en toen we terugkwamen voor de tweede nacht was de kamer niet gedaan. Volgens de staf was er sprake van een misverstand. Voor het overige een goed motel op loopafstand van het centrum. Een aanrader is Doc's met heerlijke lunches'
